The most important advantage of the new outbreak was not revealed, like other bloggers. This is a superficial review. Everyone is talking about freezing at 1/512s. but the main thing that it can do is 1/2570s at full power, it’s ten times faster than everyone else, no one can do that yet, not even Profoto.

Hello first I want to say thank you for all of your information that you have given us over Time regarding Lighting. What I would like from you if you would please do a tutorial on the flashpoint 600 pro II or the godox 600 pro II . Especially regarding the high-speed sink / or freezing Mode scenario that they have for this light I am completely lost when you enter the realm of the 512 set up that they have and then the freeze mode that they have in the system unfortunately I have not seen any videos whatsoever at all regarding this or explaining how it actually works. There are a few other issues inside the menu that's a little elusive as well can you go over each one of those especially the odd ones you have your normal settings that are self-explanatory and then there's a couple settings in there that are confusing and I'm not sure exactly what there for. Once again thank you and I hope to see some information on this light in the future
The one improvement the AD600 Pro needed was a better battery that does not die so quickly when it isn't used. When I say "die" I mean literally become unusable, as they will refuse to be charged. Are the new WB26 batteries better or do they still require revival procedures that involve equipment most people don't have access to?
We would open ours, short the two connectors on the board to reset. In some cases apply a power supply to the batteries to manually increase voltage for the PCB to respond. We opened the batteries over 20 times over last 5 years since launch. Hopefully the new batteries don't go into low voltage protection within 2 weeks. in fact, even on charge they would drop to low voltage cut off mode after a month.
@@BenALTIQ Yes, I had to revive some of mine in the same manner. Don't keep them attached to the strobes during storage, as the strobes will consume some energy over time (even when turned "off"). The batteries still self-discharge at an unreasonable rate, of course, but should last a little bit longer.
Brighter bi-color modeling lamp also makes it more useful to visualize what CTO gel will look like and as a hybrid light for video. Many photographers are creating videos, too, these days.
@@PIXELVIILAGE Funny, all my AD600Pro and AD400Pro do not even have that, not even the screw hole. We have been gaffing umbrella rods for moments where its very windy.
The WB26 is the worst battery I know of. If one uses it frequently, it is fine, but if you let it sit for a while it will discharge and become unusable, as it will refuse to be charged. Godox either needs to address the self-discharge rate of that battery or improve the charger so that it recognises a "depleted" (they still have charge in them, just not enough for the current charger to charge them) battery and nurses it back to a full charge again. The current battery & charger combination is a complete pain for anyone who isn't using the strobe on a frequent basis.
I Have two AD200 and one AD600BM and I love them! This AD600ProII looks so cool!
Pixel Village is always delivering comprehensive reviews. Thank you!
Thanks for the review. Nice job. Looks like there is some kind of pause at 10:28 timestamp.
yes i have ALSO seen these

Is there a video out there which explains this more? Thank you.
This is old fashion. With the A9III global shutter, there is no sync speed any more. You can go up to 1/80000 @ full flash power with any flash.

I am excited about this one, can't wait until it's in my hands

The extension head compatability is what excites me the most.
How's that going to work? I don't get it. You need to buy the external head?
@@claudianreyn4529 yes it will be an accessory. 2m long cable with a light head.

What is the brightness of the modeling lamp at 2800k, 3200k, 4000k, 5600k, 6000k? I cannot find this information anywhere.
No weather sealing?
I noticed you have a screw for the umbrella hole, to possibly secure your umbrellas.... did you DIY that?
Yes. That’s meant for the umbrella. The Screw is original. Not DIY. 👍

Nice explanation sir.

battery test please sir
Messed up some edits here.
Too bad that these new units have such a weak battery.
The main thing ppl wanted changed was the battery life. It’s the same battery so this is very upsetting

Great Video
Cool!
The modelling lamp on the older unit was 30 watts. It is great that it will still accept the Godox WB26 Battery & AC26 AC Adapter.
The AD600Pro is 38 watts.
