So glad Godox came into the photography world. Photographers had been ripped off for years when the established European brands controlled the market. Now there is choice and competition. And Godox is leading the way with innovation. 👍👍 While most of these upgrades to the AD200Pro are small, collectively they are continually improving this small by mighty workhorse. I was going to get another AD200 to match my original but seeing this one I'm now undecided.
Even if both speed-light and bare bulb attachments work, the one is 5 watts to 5.7 Nothing to right home about. If the bare bulb goes to 10 watts that would be the equivalent of a 100 watt incandescent and that would be an upgrade, but I bet it does not work.
@@IAmR1ch True. I've been thinking about it and you still need an S bracket to use with a bowens modifier, so might as well keep using the AD-B2 and have a 20W light.
@@veryberry- I did not know the AD-B2 had 20w. That means each ad200 gives up 10w each. Which is what we should get from the ad200 by itself. The problem with your scenario is that it uses up both ad200s. I want one for key the other for backdrop, hair light, side light ect. So that would not work for me.
So what does this mean overall..first the AD600Pro II and now this..does that mean GODOX is slowly updating their whole line up? with Mark II's? AD100 Pro II next?..haha
Can you please share your test observations about color cast and consistency? AD200 Pro II is rated at 5800K while the previous versions AD200 and AD200 Pro were at 5600K, same as Elinclhrom and Profoto. Will the AD200 Pro II have a blue cast? or cause color consistency issues using the new version with older AD200 versions? You provide excellent info. Thanks!
I don't understand why they've changed the modeling lamp to bi-color, as surely your flash is always going to be 5600k? Also, the modeling lamp on the bare bulb won't be compatible with the bayonet accessories.
Hello and greetings from Germany. And that is exactly the problem, as with every new product from Godox: The only thing that can be read everywhere at German dealers is: "Goods have been ordered, "expected November", available from December", “We cannot be given a delivery date”. Nobody can say anything about availability. I think an honest piece of information from Godox to retailers would be: "available from 2025".
@@Rajphotos_usa don’t you find it confusing? I was able to use ad200 before and was able to pop 100+ full power. Tell me more about the 50 full power pops again.
Godox EC 200 is only compatible to the round head of the ad200pro II. The bulb head and the flash head does not fit Because I have the EC200 and the ad200 pro II. That is why I know
The only thing useful for me is the usb c charger, that we can buy separately. Everything else is not worth upgrading from 26k AD200 pro to 35k AD200 pro 2, even for somebody looking for a new 200w external flash.
If you buy new the new one costs about as much more as the usb charger in single purchase, don't like the the bulb head got bigger and the LEDs are outside of the S7 softbox.

Are the new "attachments" compatible with the old AD200 ? Not the Bi color modeling LED, but the flash itself.
Yes, it can be compatible with the old AD200.
Always a fantastic product video! Thanks Pixel Village!
I bought a AD200 pro a few ago and love it! Let hope that the led head fits on the old version :)
I think you got the full power flashes incorrect. They're both 500
I will stick with my original Ad 200 pro, no drastic changes to upgrade from the existing.
Correction. The ad200 pro offers up 500 full power flashes.
I was just trying to work that out!
That sounds much better.
But only 40 continuos
you are still the star of great unbox opinions - curious - will the new bare bulb heads pop onto the older body?
You are an absolute star. Thank you 🌟
Could you test if the new modeling lamp head works on the old AD200 PRO?

Is it compatible with X2T?
Sir how many watt light is preferable to over power ambient light in mid afternoon strobe light particularly ? and one model suggestion please.
Thank you Sir ❤
As usual sir informative video.
Thanks !

Yes
ad400 pro first I would think. Then 300 pro which is the one that needs the update the most. That was one unreliable light for misfires.
I read sonwhere that there where also improvements on the ventilation, what is youre experience?

How much power do the LEDs have on the bulbhead, one problem though, the LEDs are going to be outside of the AD-S7 lightformer.
Does the vent shown in your prototype indicate that it has a built-in fan?
Does the new modelling light head work on the old ad200 pro? Obviously the bi-colour aside
looks awesome!
When I heard about the release of the AD200 Pro II, I thought about you first Mr Chakyat and waited patiently for this video 😆.
will the ad200 pro ii work with the old accesories like ad-b2?
AD-B2 double flash head is not compatible with AD200Pro II
what if we change the top part only in ad200Pro, i thing no need to buy the full kit of ad200Pro II if you have 200pro
Any Idea when ad300 pro II is going launch

5:56 50 full power flashes?
Yes only 50 flashes 1/1 ?? Confusing..
@@Rajphotos_usa weird, because the review of the ad200 (non-pro) 3-4 years ago was 500 cycle 1/1 for a full battery capacity.

@@jgarcia237 yes exactly 👍🏼
is AD200 Pro 2 is better than AD 300 Pro?
Oh no ek or aa gai
Don't you mean 500 full power flashes instead of 50?
50 1/1 flashes before the overheating protection kicks in. There’s a chart in the manual.
Can't they jsut make a usbc port on the flash itself to charge. That be great.
Or even power it with a decent PD USB powersupply.
Personally I am waiting for AD100 Pro upgrade as a macro(herp) photographer.
I like your name very much ❤
Sir please do camera review of google pixel phones
when does this come out
I searched and found that it's already available on Amazon!
They really should have just named it the AD200 Pro III, since this is the third iteration.
What do you mean by 50 full power flashes ? In 1 full charge you only have 50 full power flash ?
No. He’s obviously incorrect with that. The ad200 pro gives up to 500 full power flashes
@@davidhead5751It’s referring to how many 1/1 flashes you get before thermal protection

For 36000, i think going for the ad 400pro is a better deal for me since i have 1 ad200 and 1 ad200 pro with me. 😮
Please make a video on the latest Imfinix Zero 40 5G.
