I’m sorry I missed this reply unfortunately but I did just comment on your most recent video today. 😊 In addition to that, anything along the lines of adding some features to a condo without having to do a full reno. Are feature walls a thing of the past or is that something that I could accomplish with large scale artwork & lighting? Plants? I watch all your videos but that is a special interest of mine at the moment.
@@hazelmac5310 Hi Hazel! You can definitely do a feature wall. There are varying opinions out there about whether they're in or out. But that's the thing about trends, they're out today and in tomorrow. It's best to decide what you like and just go for it! The easiest and most cost effective is using paint which you could pair with some great artwork. And it's easy to change out. A couple of options that are more of a commitment are graphic wallcoverings and wood wall treatments. Photowall has some beautiful wall mural designs and I really like Stikwood for easy to install wood (peel and stick!). I think this is a really great topic for an upcoming video where I can go into more detail but I wanted to give you a few options to think about. ~Liz

Love the pictures of the rooms you shared, my own home is all neutrals with lots of texture and plants, I keep it very uncluttered and it creates such a calm atmosphere 🌳

I finally decluttered my daughter‘s old bedroom (donated over 300 books-yikes!), and hubby and I stopped by Sherwin-Williams to pick up paint to begin my room remodeling project this weekend. I remembered what you said about the light reflective rating in a precise video. We live in a warm climate so I chose a cool gray, (On sale!) and can’t wait to put it on this weekend! I’m still on the hunt for a new bookshelf to put in there though. Keep up good work with your channel!

I love these style currently doing my house minimalist earthy tone sos far so good video like these help knowing im doing it after the fact I decorate first a fresh calm Japan vibe it changes the moods as well
Is there a such thing as dark neutral? I would love to do a black couch but I'm stuck on what neutral chairs would go with it. I want black accents or main pieces to be a matte black the sofa, the bookshelf and dining room table. And find a way to pull in earthy tones.does this make sense or is my new style in home decor doing to much? Lol
Hey there! Yes and black is one of the pure neutrals along with white, gray and brown. There are lots of near neutrals in dark tones as well. You can do the black for your main pieces and a dark-ish to mid tone earthy neutral for your chairs with small black accents to draw your eye around the space, maybe your metals and few decor items. A great way to explore color is to get paint fan deck from one of the manufacturers and go to the neutrals section so you can see the range of tones. If you keep a tight and neutral color palette, it will be hard to go wrong :) ~Liz
