He drops the "man" and pretty much the "decent" part halfway through the game when he realizes he's not actually Mercer, but the virus.
He becomes the blacklight vírus,criated by himself!
This music makes you sprint outside really fast for no reason
of course it does. (me sprintting later this comentary)
makes you feel like stopping helicopter transports from escaping the city for some reason... hmmmmmmm

Ah, running on the side of a building as your tear apart Helicopters while a zombie war is going on below on the streets. Might have to replay this, but I don't want to do that mission where you get poisoned again.
The mission where you lose your offensive abilities for a few main missions or the one where Bloodtox (& the Super Soldiers) is revealed?
If the latter, you’ll have to keep consuming soldiers & the supers to keep your health steady.
And the Bloodtox actually sticks around for a few main missions till Mercer eventually adapts to become immune to it (around the last 3 main missions if I recall correctly)
You mean the Men like God, A Dream of Armageddon, and Shock and Awe? Since these are only missions that sticks around with Bloodtox

Alex has more of abilities, & Heller is more of a fighting type.

The game will sure get more controversies, because Alex is WAY brutal! His fatalities would be like the Claws would crush his opponent's skull and summon Hunters to devour his opponents. Imagine he consumes some MK Fighters (E.g. Alex Mercer consumes Sub Zero, He gets his ice powers. Alex consumes Scorpion, He gets his hellfire powers and able to change his groundspike ability to the Flaming hand from hell thing.) Alex Mercer can be dominant! :O
But I'm now good with the MKX characters for now. But I wish NetherRealm would add him as a character in the future Mortal Kombat games! :D

Prototype 1 was far better than prototype 2, i mean, even the soundtrack was better, what prototype 2 does is to extend the map and introduce more mutants, nothing more. Even worse, Heller has less morphs than alex, he cant even use the biomass armor.

I played
Prototype 2 before the first one and i gotta say, the first game is much better.
Prototype 2s main saving graces are the atmosphere and the story. Both of which was much better executed than in Prototype 1. Honestly, if you want sandbox action ripping everything apart then Prototype 1 is better, if you want a nice story and immersion in regards of the world then Prototype 2 is your game.
And Heller is just a stupid evolved, while Mercer is the virus, or a prototype, so essentially Alex is like a dormant infection inside James, waiting to take over.

@SmokeSantiago22 Cole was the main character of Infamous, another open world game with an anti-hero given superpowers that he didn't want who's searching for the truth. Since Prototype and Infamous were released extremely close to each other, reviewers constantly compared the 2 games.
cross was consumed by the supreme hunter and the hunter used him as a disguise. Pariah's identity is still unkown so possible sequel anyone?
oh and mercer was a result of him absorbing the virus in Penn Station after being killed

I've been playing this game for almost 12 years. I just wish they didn't can the co-op feature originally planned.
Or hey, make [PROTOTYP3] and the game starts with a new threat kicking the shit out of Heller until something inside him wakes up and claws it's way back out. Mercer, instilled with a new sense of hope for humanity, helps Heller to his feet, and the two join forces to create the most badass team up we've ever seen.

I guess it has to do with the storyline of infamous, where Cole is told that he has to fight 'The Beast', since Alex is basically a monster in human form, people presume that Alex is 'The Beast'.
I've completed both games so I know what I'm saying.

@AznNiceGuy101 The 'proper' term is just Anti-Hero. Super isn't even part of it. Anti-Heroes aren't villains at all, but rather a hero who has no issues with killing people in order to save lives. The Punisher is a prime example of an Anti-Hero. He's a good guy, but his methods are brutal, violent, but they still get the job done. A normal hero is like Spiderman or even Batman, rules against killing others even if they are complete psychos.

So if "alex" is the virus, elizabeth green wld be his mother since she can be considered the source of infection virus

There are two major key plot details that would make a Prototype 3..Honestly...What ever happened to Pariah (I dunno how to spell that)? And why isn't Alex alive when Heller consumed him?? Alex came back when a crow was eating his remains, because he consumed it, and Heller has Alex's DNA right? So...is Alex living inside Heller...or will Pariah become the 3rd prototype?? RADICAL GIVE MEH ANSWERS!!

The Surfer might have a shot because, technically, he doesn't have flesh. He's just pure energy inside and Alex couldn't absorb him. As for Superman - maybe if they were fighting INSIDE the sun.

@MrChiHuaHua33 Dude, I'm a Prototype fan, too, but Infamous didn't steal the idea from Prototype. The only way the two games are similar is that you play as a guy with superpowers in a sandbox in them. Plenty of games did that before either of them.

The makes of the game have officially said pariah was not in the game over and over. Look it up. Pariah was not the supreme hunter. He is in Area 51 because they do talk about the area 51 incident in the game.

Well, like a prototype, Alex is an incomplete form and can henceforth, be evolved as u play deeper into the game and in doing so, unlock unbelievable powers of mass destruction as part of ur evolution which would result in you becoming more and more complete, juz like a prototype. You are correct, but this is like more a open world combat music then a simple theme music of a caracter. and you can listen this soundtrack version in the prologue, open world figth against the infected+Blackwatch and in the epiloge. Have fun playing this owesome game again!
Wouldn't be really hard to fuck it up, just start it off like the intro of the game, then follow it the game rules. But they never listen, they just base it loosely off the game then make profit because of the title. Example: Resident Evil
