You might as we'll tell someone go to your room when they commit a crime. No kind of rehab necessary. Then after making you sit in your room, they release you with even less ability to function than before. I have had spent my time interacting with the law. Since, I have tried to better myself. My interactions with the law have crippled my life. I have earned a bachelors degree and in six months I'll have my masters. I have fines and a record. Because of this I've lost countless opportunities for advancement and employment. Jail did nothing for me and only serves as a weight stopping me from being a productive member of society. Jail seems only to be meant to be a weight on one's shoulders that you have to carry for the rest of you life.

It is not an answer to our problems in the slightest unless nobody ever gets out.... we can't just separate criminals from society, and not each other, or else we will (and now do) have a culture of criminals with an "us vs. Them" mentality...so they unite and form gangs and criminal organizations.
No benefits in sight for anyone involved...

This sheriff is an absolute hero and legend., but unfortunately many law enforcement officers are not. Many of the dirtbags that are causing violence in NJ are the same people who should be prosecuting it as well. I got pulled over for what i assumed were my expired tags outside phili in NJ on a trip to NYC and the cop came up, opened my door, drug me out of the car, and damn near broke my arm while telling me to stop resisting, while he had his knee on my head and face on the asphalt... After about 2 hours in the back of his car, they finally figured out I was not the person they were looking for. not so much as an "I'm sorry for that" but instead when I asked to file a complaint about the original officers actions I was threatened with arrest for "resisting" yet the entire thing was unlawful. They gave me a ticket for the expired plate sticker after all was said and done as well. Apparently someone matching my description (a white male) driving a similar car to mine (a black sedan) had earlier drove off from a bicycle officer after being told to stop. To be honest I was thankful to escape with my freedom and my life that day... I also realized police need to earn our trust and respect; and there are not very many like Grady Judd; but he makes me want to move to florida.
By the way, my dash cam is what acquitted me that day; without it I might have gone to jail and been prosecuted for something I didn't do.

The guy is still in his 20s, which means he has 50 more years on average. That will actually mean that he will cost the state over 2million , unless they throw him into general population, give him the right cell mate, or just put him in solitary with nothing but his orange and a 10 foot piece of rope. No matter how mean or misbehaved kids can be sometimes parents love them unconditionally because we can still see the sweet little baby they once were and are still capable of being. I pray that you can one day find some semblance of peace for you and for your family.

Wait I'm confused why is the woman whose parenting skills created a murderer a Saint?

@@michaelfriscia8166 I was actually speaking about the victims mother. She allowed his story to be told and let the whole world know that he is gone now because of the choices he made. She had the legal right to protect him from ridicule but she chose to let his story be told in hopes that it might wake someone up. To me that shows a person who is willing to take accountability for their actions. I'm sure she is questioning every parenting choice she ever made now. It's a little lare now but we don't need to kick her while she's down. She knows its too late to regret her choices but its not too late for the parents hearing this to change things.

@Tommy Mc he said he was questioning people in the area, and when no one answered he started arresting. The 5th amendment reaffirms our right to remain silent. That's my argument

I wish there were more police officers in every state like Grady Judd. God bless you sir. You are truly an angel sent down from God to protect the weak and innocent. I also admire and very thankful for how many adults you have sent to jail for child trafficking. I wish I could do more for you than just a thank you.... if you ever come around Boise Idaho, it would be a blessing and honor to have you over for dinner with my family. May God protect you.
