How I Made My Soul Eater Scythe for $20!

- Hey guys! Sorry I have been away so long! Right when I was getting good at having videos up every week too! D: I got really sick for a few weeks and then just got pummeled down by stress of things happening in both my personal and school life. I don't even have my room available to film in right now :( Still trying to deal with some things, but I hope to have a video up every Saturday from now on! Professor Stein, BlackStar weapons and more cosplay tutorials to come! Might try making a cosplay metal arm just for funzies...
ANYWAY everything I used for my Soul Eater Scythe:
3 rolls of duct tape: Red, White, and Black (you could use one roll and just paint everything if you want?)
3/4" PVC pipe
2" PVC pipe
Blank Paper and Sharpies
Paper towel/toilet paper cardboard roll
Lots of cardboard and glue! (you can get big cardboard for free by going around the back of outdoor strip malls and getting some boxes out of their dumpsters which they usually only use for cardboard anyway. Computer/appliance stores are best for the biggest boxes)

Wow whenever I think of making props, I think sooo complicated, like: I'll probably need Worbla for this, and a thousand buckets of paint and whatsoever, but I never even thought of using Duct tape like that! It looks amazing! :D

My dad bought a giant piece of foam from Lowe's to make my scythe. So I don't even know what type it was but now I have a huge scythe in my room. It's probably like 6 feet tall I would guess. I accidentally hit alot of people

+Rhi Grenier There are a lot of similar looking tiaras at party/halloween stores, but if you don't find anything there, craft foam is great for making headpieces!
