I love FPP . I do not pin when paper piecing. A dot of temporary glue (Aleen’s) will hold in place hold it in place. Once the first two pieces are sewn on I just flip the two up to break the hold. I found this keeps everything in place.
You can find the Carol Doak paper in quilt stores or Amazon. Since I FPP quite a bit I buy the paper by the packet of 100. The paper is nothing more than newspaper paper. The paper comes in two sizes, regular size and legal. Have fun.
