- Two college freshmen have received a heap of attention after transforming their dorm room into an elegant and cozy space anyone would be happy to call home. Meredith Welborn and Sarah Hooton decided to room together after meeting through mutual friends. With the help of Hooton's mother, who is an interior designer, they immediately got to work planning their decor. They decked out the room with matching headboards and a custom coffee table that added to the upscale feel of their space. #InsideEdition

If anyone is looking for a college with BEAUTIFUL and SPACIOUS dorms I reccomend ball state university, I could literally do a whole cartwheel in my temporary visit. Depending which hall your in too the room sizes vary but I dont remember which hall I was staying in for my guest visit

I’ve never lived in a dorm but to me the best thing would be raised beds so you can have shelving underneath that is easy to reach and easy to cover up. To me that’s definitely the best part.

When I was in college, I stayed at a condominium run by the university. The unit features 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a spacious living room with dinner table and a small pantry, my unit was on the 9th floor and me and my roommate slept in separate bedrooms.

Yep I bet it is. One of the girl's mom is an interior designer and did the room for them. Also how they where presenting/talking made it sound like an ad of some sort. Someone sees this, likes the room, ask the girls how they got it, girls redirect them to their mom, mom helps design other kids' dorm rooms, mom makes money.

Happycrap Lalalala it seems affordable though. They recycled things they already have (the liquor table turned coffee bar) and raised the bed to fit in shelves which saves space and threw in a few throw pillows
