  • Опубліковано 8 лют 2025
  • Seventeen-year-old Collin Griffith is accused of killing his mother, Catherine Griffith, after the two allegedly got in a fight in September of 2024. Collin Griffith told investigators his mother came at him with a knife and she fell on it, forcing a fatal stab wound, but detectives say the teen really murdered her. In 2023, Griffith confessed to killing his father in Oklahoma in what he claimed was self-defense. He was originally arrested for his father’s death but those charges got dropped.

The evidence that was not let into this trial speaks volumes! Multiple text messages to his lawyer, telling him that he was gonna split his mother‘s throat. Telling his grandfather that he not only wanted to split her throat, but smear her blood and smell that blood as she’s dying, so much was left out of the jury ears in this case. What INNOCENT 16-year-old what would kill his father one year, put in the custody of his mother , and not only bragged about wanting to split her throat, but actually did it the next year. Give me a break. This is a psychopath that needs to be put away.

It could be that nobody else wanted to take on the case. Ethical prosecutors will turn a case down if it looks like they can't meet their burden of proof. Unethical prosecutors, like Thomas Clair Binger and the one in this trial, will leap on high-profile cases in the hope that it will raise their profile. It's a strategy that backfired badly for Binger, but this guy will probably get through it unscathed.

Everyone should watch the sheriff Grady Judd press conference when this monster was arrested for his mothers killing. He brought up that he killed his father a year before!
in 2023, Collin was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his father. Collin told investigators in Lincoln County, Oklahoma, that his father pulled a knife on him, so he shot him in self-defense.
Prosecutors dropped the charges less than a month later because they “could not disprove Collin’s assertion of self-defense.”
Supposedly the dad had a knife so the monster shot him twice!
Then he moved to his moms home and she tried to make up for lost time by SPOILING him with trips including cruises, and a brand new vehicle fir his graduation! I was scrolling through her instagram yesterday and they both looked so happy!

The HYPOCRISY is REAL with this Defense Attorney! She can go into GREAT detail about Kathy’s past behavior and how she treated people and “attempted” to hurt other people, but she hasn’t actually killed someone in the past like the defendant has done and now make that Two! It blows my mind how ALL the nasty little details about what Kathy has done is all the defense attorney has talked about throughout this trial and the defense attorney even says that’s what the jury gets to know in order to help make their decision. However, when it comes to the defendant’s past, the jury doesn’t get to take into consideration that he has killed his father already? Also, I don’t get how that was supposed to be self-defense when he literally shot his father in the chest and the BACK of the head, which means the father must have had his BACK towards the defendant, so how’s that self-defense?!? This whole situation is terrible, I just pray 🙏 the jury gets it right, but I doubt they will!
Again, I have to say, it’s SO WRONG that the judge ruled evidently, to keep out one of the most powerful facts of this case and that is that the defendant murdered his own father and now is charged with the murder of his OWN mother!
    😡

Believe me,I think he is very very screwed up by being raised by two violent abusers. And he will most likely to commit violence in the future- but the prosecuted did not prove with evidence, that this wasn’t self defense. Horrible situation. He belongs in a therapeutic setting. But you can’t go against the law and rules of verdict.

I find it ironic that the defense attorney talks about what happens when people don’t suffer from the consequences of their actions…..they do it all over again!
As I said, isn’t it ironic that the defense attorney makes this statement as her client sits at the defense table once again for killing a parent perhaps because he didn’t suffer ANY CONSEQUENCES when he killed his father about year before the mother.
    Timestamp ( 1:31:09 ) Irony 🤔

Also, self-defense is determined by the perspective of the one committing the act of killing. Weather in self-defense or not is determined by the objective and subjective perception of the person committing the violence.
So what Colin endured is DIRECTLY RELEVANT... to whether he's guilty or not. This has been the law of the land for like a billion years

How dare you slander a murder victim like that? of course she had her problems, no mother is absolutely perfect but Kathy Griffith actually tried to make up for lost time with her son. He paid her with death on that cold kitchen floor. I wish she was selfish enough to say screw collin,
I am 39 and I will just continue to live my life, but she was not selfish, her son that she sacrificed herself for was ultimately the selfish one.
One of the most selfish brats I have ever heard of. He was 17 could not get out of his room and clean, did not want to mount a bookshelf, his clothes? she would clean them herself. He did absolutely nothing to help his mom not even once and you call her insane? That is an insane analysis. They were barely together for a long time, not too long!

He killed his father then his mother. And said that he wanted to slit her throat! You are ok with this lunatic back out in public? So when he gets upset or doesn't get his own way, he can commit murder a third time? Unbelievable. I sure hope nobody like yourself is on that jury!

It’s unfortunate for any child or adolescent to be raised in a crazy, abusive household. They are dependant on their caregivers and have no escape in too many circumstances. Just hearing his mother speak brought chills. Rehabilitate him.

😮rehabilitate him????? He is far beyond rehabilitation. Dont matter if he is a kid or not. he clearly knew what he was doing the first time and now the second time. Mental problems? Yeah maybe just a bit but he clearly knows what the heck he wanted and what he was doing. The reason for him always saying I’m gonna defend myself. I’m gonna defend myself etc. So that when he in fact killed his mother like he did his father, it would be like an “I told you so” and I warned you.

    • @wildroses3040
      @wildroses3040 4 дні тому +2

@@hr9086 both parents had severe mental issues, drug and vicious anger problems. The mother should have relinquished custody to the authorities or at very least, left him with the grandmother, but instead she chose to traumatize him even more by fighting with her own mother and going there in a rage to get him by force. She was a walking bomb! All 3 of them were in dire need of rehabilitation!
