Only 4 years after the zero requiem? Now they are just spitting in the face of Lelouch’s plan. They should have skipped forward much further otherwise it really makes it seem like Lelouch did that all for nothing if peace couldn’t even last a few years. Like Resurrection could have been an outlier, but it feels like they are too afraid to skip so far that the characters we knew have changed drastically. I wish they set this at least a few decades, maybe a 100 years. Give us a new cast with exception of L2/C2 who should be background side characters. Also let’s be real this is a TV show. No movie gets released like this as part of a 4 part series of it was really a movie with movie budget. So it’s not an issue for me that it’s getting released that way elsewhere.
7 years after Zero Requiem, not 4. Furthermore, the cast is indeed new. Please do not speculate.

@@bluespaceman79377 years is still pathetic for the peace Lelouch was trying to achieve. The cast they are showing us is new, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t gonna pull old cast in. They might be hiding it to surprise for dramatic effect. Also, of course I’m gonna speculate, they released a trailer and some info, the whole point is to speculate and drum up interest in the movies. This video is literally speculating, as well so don’t know why you are watching if you wanted to go into the movies blind.
@@user-wk7jk5of4fI know it technically is, but that just feels like a cop out to me. I liked Resurrection, there was some nice closure there. They literally set up L2/C2 to be immortal holders of the code and geass. They could skip froward a bit to show us the peace lasted more than a few years. It just feels like a wasted opportunity. I do want to see more in this universe so I will check out the movies or show rather when it comes out. Hopefully it makes sense, but we’ll see.
@@theredeft5319 Ye Lelouch's death feels so much more sad, epic and meaningful at the end of the show than in resurrection . Thats just my coping mechanism to not ruin lelouch's death in my mind.

I for one am glad it is not set that far off in the future; since it allows for the original cast to appear and possibly even carry the series from various supportive roles. I am still waiting for more information on how this new britannian group managed to get past the BK watch, though.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the show has in store for us.

Honestly waiting for the theratical release of all four to be out first before watching this series. One thing I can think about the Neo Brittania holding Hokkaido is probably the Sakuradite on the island and how it’s usually been like a natural fortress.

think will have a cameo on this? Also I think the guy that looks like Orange has a uniform reminiscent of the JLF (because of those shoulder kind of thingies), perhaps he's part of the 7 stars. Overall hella HYPE!!!
Mario/ Maya would be a stretch but cameos from the other extended universe characters hopefully will be a thing

According to Marrybell Charles couldn't control himself so yeah there are probably even more children than Charis.
But Schneizel kill most of them.

This is basicly the Code Geass version of Gundam ZZ
they really should skipped time till both suzaku and schneizel are not there, the story is giving too many inconsistencies with the plan that lulu made, all this strength that opp gather should not stand against the BK and current Brit forces, where did their power come from anyway when the world was supposed to be destroyed, then in 4 year suddenly theres this group stronger than BK? while its easy to say maybe Geass was used, then its a question to what is lulu doing, he is supposed to be ressurected to stop geass users from disturbing the world? seems not in character for both lelouch, suzaku or even schneizel to let such large scale insurrection of power to be established, also it feels dumb to chose another emperor not from the current britania cause its destroyed? but choose a new one from the same emperor lineage anyway

So, they really have decided to go past Lelouch. I guess that's good if they want to further expand the series but the point is, will it really work. Most of the people liked Code Geass because of Lelouch will sunrise able to make another great character, because if they are going with the same approach as Og series, it likely won't work, CG did ass pulls and the reasons it were ignored because of Lelouch as he give a pure theater experience, but again his strory has been ended and likely won't go any further unless they decide to do some new ass pulls, like changing it into kind of star wars or probably merging it with Gundum etc. But again doing something like that would also bring both criticism and curiosity to watch Lelouch more. In the end I would say they did good with not touching Lelouch more.
In the end, I just want them to give a 5 min cameo to Lelouch and C.C.
Code Geass was made to have different protagonists Code Geass : Name of the protagonist. For example Code Geass :Lelouch of the Rebellion and Lelouch of Resurrection is about Lelouch, Code Geass :Akito the Exiled is about Akito, Code Geass :Rozé of the Recapture is about Rozé.
Other examples from Manga : "Code Geass :Suzaku of the Counterattack about Suzaku, Nightmare of Nunnally about Nunnally obviously, OZ of the Reflection about Oldrin Zevon and Renya of Darkness about Renya (set way before Lelouch was even born)

@@hollyscahill3325 to me most people say "Code Geass without Lelouch is nothing" or something like that but guess what people said "Pokemon without Ash was nothing" and Horizons (which doesn't have Ash) is doing better than Journeys and got an episode in number 1 of weekly viewerships. People simp way too much for one character when the franchise name tells you that the franchise is not really about that character, that character is just one of the protagonists the franchise can have
@@symphonixblades I never said Code geass was meant to be Lelouch show's personally, Akito the exiled showed that. But the point is, would the franchise still able to get success without Lelouch, Code geass can't run on just few people, you know it needs to earn money. The case with pokemon is different. First of all pokemon was still very much popular as it was a continously running show unlike Code Geass who haven't released anything since 2018 and that was only for Code geass previous fans and only worked due to nostalgia, which is not same with pokemon as it was still very much relevant before the start with horizens.
Second, Pokemon is a kids show, and most of the viewers of pokemon are either kids or early teens which is not same with code geass and third, it has a very popular game to make the show still relevant, Code geass games became popular only among the fans of the anime on the other hand pekemon was started due to game, its game base is still very good and new features of open world helps a lot and bring a new experience.

Also this is against the technicality of things but i do not think zilcstan Shattered the world wide peace created by zero requiem because the true essence of that peace is that all the big nations are now united under ufn and zilcstan didn’t really break it however it did pose as a threat to whatever degree since they kidnapped Nunnally who is a significant member of the UFN
That's an issue for some but my issue is that its on Disney+

That doesn't have to mean much. Stadtfeld, Weinberg, Waldstein, Einstein and Ernst are all German names.
@@darko8959 all those people in our timeline imigrated from germany in the last 250 ish years, its highly unlickely that german were alowed to imigrate on mass in the britanian empire
@@NeroPiroman Stadtfeld=Kallen, Weinberg=Gino, Waldstein=Bismarck, Einstein=Nina, Ernst=Dorothea, considering all those characters have german names and count as britannian, it wouldn't be to much of a jump when there are more britannian characters that have german names
All I know is that the Zero Requiem is in danger once again…only time will tell how our old and new characters will face it.
