There are two cases in mind, not really sure which one: -first, that’s the dad of sub-adult male lion (probably 2-3 years) trying to kick him out of the pride so that he can make his own pride and take his own territory; sub-adult male lions are always kicked out of the pride because they’re growing to their prime while the fathers are growing old and once the females are in heat they will try to mate with their moms and sisters, the father won’t be able to do anything with big lions in their prime; -second, it could be an intruder lion trying to kill the sub-adult male while the dad is on patrol, taking the pride for himself.
@@vynsythe Thanks so much for the information!!! Are you leaning on one idea this could possibly be for this video!? I’m think I’m leaning more on #2, an intruder...but idk. I am new to this ahah!
@@achante2002 i rewatched it and it's probably the n°1, cause most of the time if there was an intruder, all of them would be on his face trying to kick him out, or worse, they could kill him. It's just a dad trying to kick his sons to make their own coalitions and prides, since these are social cats, they instinctively know that they shouldn’t mate with the same pool genes, cause that could potentially breed deformed lions. If you wanna know more about lions, i recommend you to watch and support Kevin Richardson aka TheLionWhispererTV :)

Great footage! Not sure if if was a takeover from a rogue male or father trying to oust the Subadult son. Either way those lionesses protected him fiercely. Never seen an interaction like that!
Really shows what the famous term of "strength in number" means. I think what happened here is the other way around: lionesses and the pride members protecting one of their sub-adult sons from the male lion (who seemed to be somewhat still related to the pride). It is common in the lion world that the old dominant male lions push away their young sons from the pride.
I don't think this is the case of big daddy trying to expel the sons. The fighting is too fierce. Look how fiercely mom and her sons fight back. I think this is a big nomad in his prime, trying to take over the pride and drive the young males out. I can see mom with the collar, a second lioness, and five 2-2.5 year old males. They are a formidable pride, really protecting each other. Whenever the sons will leave the pride, they will form a formidable coalition.
Those are lionesses attacking the male. Lionesses are absolutely fearless and extremely aggressive against random males, especially if their cubs are at risk. Bow down to the real queens!
You are wrong, have you ever seen female lions with testicles ? most of the lions in the video are sub adult males, look under their tails, they have testicles. I reckon the pride females produced cubs which were predominately male at roughly the same time., hence the number of sub adult males. The full grown male which approached is probably a nomad looking for a pride to take over.
I was in awe with that lioness coming from far behind and smashed into his face.. unbelievable!!!!!😮And there are a few male subadults and a few lionesses who fought the dominant male...Also you can see that the male is outnumbered the subadults are fighting back, but the have not the experience and confidence to give him a lesson, because of the male lions dominance...
Appears to be a total of 5 juvenile males and one mother. What a litter if she had 5 strong sons! Quite beautiful! They are all slighter larger with a bit of scruff for a premature mane. The guy who wants to "date" their mother is getting a beating from the teenage sons.
The big male is clearly trying to get to that sub-adult male. Look like he’s ready to run him off so he can start his own pride. He looks old enough and is sprouting a mane. That’s usually when they’re ran off. His mama and aunties weren’t hearing it though! They were really protecting him at all costs. It’s so funny how they were making sure the sub-adult was safely behind them while they fought off his dad! 😂
The male is trying to oust the young male and the lioness' are trying to negotiate for him to leave the young male alone. The lioness' are actually submitting to him while negotiating.
XtraHits Males that take over will usually oust the adolescent males, not kill them. This creates the nomadic males that will eventually take over a pride on their own. It's healthy and prevents inbreeding. I disagree that this is DEFINITELY a takeover though. Sometimes females will check the pride males if they become too aggressive.
Has no one seen the documentary that this scene is from. Earlier in the day The mom lion was breeding with another male lion and he caught her. So the big male is trying to attack her and all of the young lions are protecting her.
@1:00, ninja kamakazee lioness torpedoed the king Lion. Big fella attitude was about doing away with just 1 guy, but the lionesses were like gotta go thru us big guy. I ain't goin' to that neighborhood! No Sir.
No. Unless the leader is their father, they will be killed. And if it's their father or uncle, they will soon be kicked and become nomadic lion to prevent incest. Lion only allow their brothers ( collation member) and their cubs. When the cubs become a subadult he's kilked. Until a new collation take over the pride, kill all the kids of the previous leader and starts their pride...it's that's how lion work.
Change the title to "Mother protecting young". That male lion was received with major hostility meaning he was a stranger. The lionesses were protecting what appeared to be two adolescent males, the larger of the two seemed to be the main target of the adult male - that much is clear at 2:00-2:09.
There were 5 sub adult male lions but only 2 of them were lit scared and backing off but that one who swiped him in the beginning has some big balls he is gonna be something he was fearless

These young male lions are just starting to grow their manes and lionesses do not have balls. These boys should have a huge territory today.
Just because females don't have balls for any species, doesn't mean they can't claim a territory or etc.
Maybe the big male stayed away to long ?
Epic camera capture. Thank you
I love how they know to come together for greater good
woww so amazing , lioness are awesome . lioness success is their team work and determination
Would you keep the damn camera on the fight!!!
Lol
lol
Lolly lol🤣
Know that others lioness came running like a beast to attack him
Even after watching the video twice and going through all the comments... I'm still not sure what happened there!!
Same here 😅
There are two cases in mind, not really sure which one:
-first, that’s the dad of sub-adult male lion (probably 2-3 years) trying to kick him out of the pride so that he can make his own pride and take his own territory; sub-adult male lions are always kicked out of the pride because they’re growing to their prime while the fathers are growing old and once the females are in heat they will try to mate with their moms and sisters, the father won’t be able to do anything with big lions in their prime;
-second, it could be an intruder lion trying to kill the sub-adult male while the dad is on patrol, taking the pride for himself.
@@vynsythe Thanks so much for the information!!! Are you leaning on one idea this could possibly be for this video!? I’m think I’m leaning more on #2, an intruder...but idk. I am new to this ahah!
Same
@@achante2002 i rewatched it and it's probably the n°1, cause most of the time if there was an intruder, all of them would be on his face trying to kick him out, or worse, they could kill him.
Complicated Lion business. Fascinating. They’re gorgeous.
They all sound like a group of Audi R8's 😳😳
Great footage! Not sure if if was a takeover from a rogue male or father trying to oust the Subadult son. Either way those lionesses protected him fiercely. Never seen an interaction like that!
Really shows what the famous term of "strength in number" means. I think what happened here is the other way around: lionesses and the pride members protecting one of their sub-adult sons from the male lion (who seemed to be somewhat still related to the pride). It is common in the lion world that the old dominant male lions push away their young sons from the pride.
The bond of these lioness to protect is unbelievable. I love when the guy tells the kid shhhhhh!
Whenever the sons will leave the pride, they will form a formidable coalition.
just imagine your in the middle in there and u will understand how good your life is
This is an Extraordinary video brother . excellent footage.
Those are lionesses attacking the male. Lionesses are absolutely fearless and extremely aggressive against random males, especially if their cubs are at risk. Bow down to the real queens!
Lissell Paredes Looked to me like the real queens took some good head shots, from the real king.
lol expected to witness a meninist in his ego pride. Not surprised, happens every time a video or topic is about females.
papasfritas Shut up, in Africa the people would laugh at how we view gender here in the US. They view man and woman as one.
papasfritas "meninist" smh
This was quite something to watch simply because no one was badly hurt he truly was quite a amazing lion though.thanks for sharing
I agree there so amazing and glad no one was badly hurt Apex predator
I was your 400th follower 😜
Appears to be a total of 5 juvenile males and one mother. What a litter if she had 5 strong sons! Quite beautiful! They are all slighter larger with a bit of scruff for a premature mane. The guy who wants to "date" their mother is getting a beating from the teenage sons.
The notch lion kept his sons all the way to adulthood..6 freaking full grown lions with the dad as the boss.
Mothers will always protect their children no matter what an on tht day tht male picked the wrong mamas sons mother ❤️
I love to learn more about lions and this video is most likely helping me with that :)
Please upload and share more of your amazing videos of lions and other wild animals. This video was very interesting. Thanks.
Good sons will always protect their mothers.
The male is trying to oust the young male and the lioness' are trying to negotiate for him to leave the young male alone. The lioness' are actually submitting to him while negotiating.
very accurate description, thank you :))
XtraHits yea thats what was going on the outside male was trying to take over the pride
This is not submitting at all. Male lion is in 2 minds thinking shit I better be careful here.
Has no one seen the documentary that this scene is from. Earlier in the day The mom lion was breeding with another male lion and he caught her. So the big male is trying to attack her and all of the young lions are protecting her.
First boy who slapped first is the most bravest in brother's. No doubt all brothers and their mother or aunts are brave too.
Looks like thre father decided to kick his young male out of pride..but lioness wants them to kick later 😂😂😂😂
Lionesses are the great mothers almost protecting their Cubs from strange male Lions among the beasts...!
Respect for these beasts.
They are protecting the young adolescent lion from the large male lion.
New Stepdad, Wild life version of "are we there yet?"I wonder was she in heat, since it seemed he was only focused on that one lioness.
@1:00, ninja kamakazee lioness torpedoed the king Lion. Big fella attitude was about doing away with just 1 guy, but the lionesses were like gotta go thru us big guy. I ain't goin' to that neighborhood! No Sir.
😂
Cub: You're not gonna fuck my mom!
This mother is battled out ....love, Karla
Yup, lioness n their young sons protecting the biggest sub adult male lion
the best video , i have no doubt
That guy is there to get a wife....the boys in the family like you can't have my mom as long as we are here
The males are not fighting they understand what will be the consequences of fighting the guy who will be the leader of the pride
That Male Lion was like "These Bitches are crazy" lmfao!!!!
Change the title to "Mother protecting young". That male lion was received with major hostility meaning he was a stranger. The lionesses were protecting what appeared to be two adolescent males, the larger of the two seemed to be the main target of the adult male - that much is clear at 2:00-2:09.
0:59 She came in like a wrecking ballll...😂😂
Good film. It's good to see for once the overgrown boys pulling their weight in the pride. They were fighting for their own future.
There were 5 sub adult male lions but only 2 of them were lit scared and backing off but that one who swiped him in the beginning has some big balls he is gonna be something he was fearless
I love this ..it's do entertaining...no one really knows what is going on .. everyone is guessing!..lol..
Put on your headphone, listen to vibration of massive growling. Liones are awesome.
