New Zealand deserved to be champions for the history and the brilliant performance during the whole tournament .. But they didn't deserve to win the final . France deserved to win the final for the domination in the second half.. but they didn't deserve TO BE in the final because of this match vs tonga and the horrible game vs Wales . Wales should have been there and maybe won the WC .. but they lost 3 times out of 7 games and also they barely won vs Samoa. I could go on and on but .. let's say Namibia probably deserved to be champions
that number 20 for tonga could've scored but decided to try and smash his way through the fullback instead of running for the tryline ;-; but wow i always enjoy seeing these type of games featuring polynesians
I've many respect for the pacific teams who sometimes achieved classics against big teams. That said, the behavior of some Tongan players, Taumalolo in particular, at the end of the match was a bit pathetic and disrespectful.
Rugby league will become most dominant branch of rugby! The union bosses are old fation, so conservative, they just dont want to develope and even if they want, they have no power over six nations, money fockused union. While league is doing something right, is more open and helpfull for other nations/unions..
