Thank you for this guide! Worked perfectly on my 2019 signature. Went with the 3x lock option since I didn't want the auto folding mirrors to close & open with the lock unlock lock option. If you hit the lock button 3x quickly the car will beep and then only honk once as to not disrupt the neighbors at night.
For some reason the Fortin guide doesn't include the first step of connecting the module and going through the menus to flash it, so I was completely stuck until I found your video. Thank you!
Great guide! Followed these steps exactly for my 2015 CX-5. I ran into an issue where Dcryptor said "invalid key data" the first time, but I tried teaching the EVO again with the key fob right against the ignition button and then was able to Dcrypt just fine.
Good job! Used your video as a guardrails (except went L-U-L) and you’re right, it’s plug-n-play. Works great so far. Thanks for the helpful walkthrough!
YOUR THE MAN! Just put this setup on my wifes 2016 CX5, and there was a couple tiny things different that it asks you in the computer setup, but it worked, you saved me so much time, thank you!
Couple tips. 1. Don't coil up the bunch of extra wire like that. Instead run it down the center of the harness along the path(s) that already exist and hold in place with zip ties or electrical tape. That way you don't have this big bulk of wires at each end that can get in the way and be difficult to manage. 2. Put a piece of electrical tape over the little red light if you don't want it to be annoying. 3. I was able to zip tie the module to the metal portion behind the under-dash plastic trim and make it look super clean. 4. Make sure you update your vehicle settings to unlock the doors when shifting in to park and lock the doors when shifting out of park, as well as unlock all doors with the single button press. First time I went to unlock the car after a remote start I was super annoyed that I had to go to the driver's door to unlock the rest. That would've been really annoying if I hadn't changed the settings.
Great Video! The ONLY gripe, as someone else pointed out...lose the putty knife and blade in favor of a trim-removal-tool. I am doing a 2021 CX3 tomorrow with the same hardware. I love Fortin stuff!
Just slapped on into my 16' CX-5. Everything seemed to go well following this. Decrypter would not code, kept trying to reprogram in car, walking in and out. Was going to wipe it out and start from scratch. Then saw a post that said to just re run the firmware. Did that, and boom worked fin.e

Funny thing! I'm doing my car right now. My EVO-ONE-MAZ3 that I ordered came with the THAR-MA30 wiring harness already! Not the jumble of cables like you had in yours. Cool. Now I can return the separate THAR-MA30 and get a refund of $65!

Thanks for your help on the thread. This worked on my 2015 GT CX-5. I had accidentally put my unit into special mode...that was the issue. Thank you for your reply. Maybe it’s better idea to enable option in EVO to shut the car off on door open?
Does evo one works in Michigan?
I’m assuming you mean the cellular feature? I’m not sure you’d have to check with Fortin
Can i make the turn the AC on ?
You would need to set it that way before shutting off the engine the time before.
Will this Evo one work to 2020 cx5? Thanks
Check Fortin.ca for their compatibility checker. Nothing changed in the new 20 AFAIK.
It did work on my 2020 CX5, i ordered EVO one and programmed it. Works fine. I think from 2021 models the harness and wiring changed(based on my research from fortin.ca)
I followed every step and can't seem to get it to work, wtf
On the second one I did, I had to follow the flashing procedure twice. Try hooking it back up to the computer and starting there.
will it work for a 2015 Mazda 3s
Looks like it on the compatibility checker at fortin.ca
How much ?
I think the evo one was like $80, the harness was $50, and the flasher was also $50
@@pitchpolefpv8971 i don’t see link products ! Plz hepl me ! Many thanks !
How is everything working so far after the install?
Everything is good still.
will this allow me to still open my door with the key fob or will i have to insert the actual key in the door to get in..... the oem is set to disable the keyfob functionality once the car is on so im wondering if this would be a viable option... i have a base model 2016 maz 6, so no proximity sensors or buttons on the door handles
I’m not 100% certain. My Mazda has the buttons which I always use so I’ve never tried the key fob. I’ll try my key fob sometime and let you know
@@pitchpolefpv8971 thnx for the reply i would greatly appreciate it if you would....
@@pitchpolefpv8971 DId you ever try this out?
