I live in Oak Lawn. I ate here once. I had the best & worst experience. I had a plate of Oreo pancakes which were probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. I also had 2 sunny side eggs on top of a plate of corned beef hash. Apparently there was something not right with the corned beef hash as I left the establishment I kept spitting up these small rubbery particles that were the same ones from the corned beef hash. So the Oreo pancakes get a perfect 10 but the eggs & corned beef hash I give below zero.
2:24 is that PURE MAPLE SIRUP? i doubt it! everytime i go into a usa resto and ask for it, they bring me Aunt Jemima or some kind of sirup that is definately NOT maple sirup. Plates are WAY TOO BIG, 6 pancakes... come on... 2 or 3 is quiet enough!

I have visited the US many times, but I still simply don't "get" their love of pancakes (particularly when served with maple syrup) To my European palate, it is a sickly, over sweet dish, and once was enough for me! I also don't much appreciate the French liking for cheese at breakfast ( I thought it was a packed lunch) My preferred breakfast is the "heart attack on a plate" Irish/British fry-up! I am 72 years old, and have enjoyed that treat (without the accursed baked beans) every Sunday morning since I was old enough to use a knife and fork. No offence intended to anyone!
This is the best of Chicago's Best. The food, the Chicago accents, and that lovely white turtleneck sweater. Britney you are the best.
