I’ve got a 796 Ducati. Love it. Powder coated the wheels red. Upped the brain box. It’s a blast to ride. NO other bike like it. Love the Desmo drive. Clank clank clank
Lovely watching you out and about as always Lucas ,Still gets to me the lack of Tourists all over Thailand ..But maybe people are in the same boat as me that just can't afford a Holiday right now .Still saddens me even when i was over there on holiday 🤦♂
You will love the Triumph Street Twin 900. I was lucky enough to save my pennies and brought a 2022 model. The retro look suits me, and it revived memories when I owned a triumph in the 1970's. Good luck.
Yes, it is wonderful to find it there. Normally pre-sliced. As the title said "Westfälisches Pumpernickel Brot", so specifying the German region as well. Made of Sourdough rye with whole rye seeds. A bread I can get in Ireland only in the Polish Shops.
You have alot going on today. Loved seeing the new motorcycles. Seeing the new store and it's offerings was great. The new find for lunch was a great store with many additional items . You are the best !😊
Tigglebitties is one of my favorite haunts for some comfort USA food. Prices good too. A bit hidden. You’ll never see it driving around unless you’re looking for it. Also anxious to try the Scomadi scooters provided to rent at a resort I’m staying at Chiang Rai in October. Looks a bit retro. Should be fun.
I really miss the food in Thailand, my girlfriend is from Philippines but I will definitely be taking her to Thailand 😅 Yes it's Swedish, i paused it on the menu and I saw Pytt I panna, the kebab looks like kebabrulle which I love 🇸🇪
lucas ,you made me laugh with the pancakes , last time to america i got a quart of vermont maple syrup , you can get it in Bangkok, if your a millionaire
That Chevy Vega was about a 1972. I bought one for my ex wife in 1976 and she loved it. Fun car to drive. Great on gas. Aluminum head and cast block. Head gasket problems
I remember when triumph closed the factory here in UK and moved to a factory just outside Bangkok , you can see the factory when travelling on the highway from the Airport to Pattaya
Random was a fine video, I like the little details like the classic car sign in military hours, the huge pot store,,the pot stores are smaller here in WA🪴thank you for the video I really appreciate them and look forward to sunday's..love you both❤
Would love to get a Triumph, but already have have a Royal Enfield and a Forza and a Scoopy…….i guess you can’t ever have too many motorcycles (or scooters)😆🤣…….love the old VW buses and Beatles too!

I used to ride a triumph tiger sport 1050 back in Sweden while I still lived there, loved that bike. Thanks for the telling me about the Swedish shop, although is over an hour car ride from Pattaya, I will most certainly visit that shop once or twice every year.
Glad you visited a Swedish restaurant. Buy and try a tube of Kalle's caviar the next time you visit the place. Yummy and have the sandwich for breakfast👍
I’ve been waiting for someone to go to Tigglebitties. I think the best place for your American/California style food because they do Mexican food too. So if you’re missing pancakes, waffles, French toast and they even have biscuits and gravy for breakfast, all is good. Even Mondays is barbecued meat. One of my recommendations.
My brother is into fixing cars he bought a couple of old cars to fix up but it was a lot of work &money & then u have to find a buyer he quit it nice &chairs😊😊
hi Lucas thank you for sharing, i am a novice to motor bike and scooters and wondered what your thoughts would be on a budget starter scooter for a larger gent 125kg yo use in pattaya and around the outskirts of the city, also my girl lives in surin and i will be spending some time there and thought about a Quad bike for using around her village etc, do you have any experience or knowledge about these and am eager to learn your thoughts about them thanks again cheers.

Well......lemme tell ya of my experience the other day at the Triumph dealership you highlighted. I went early afternoon on a weekday. I was the only customer there. I was keenly interested in looking at a Speed 400 (for the first time) in anticipation of buying one when I heal up medically fairly soon. I went in and seen three young fellas which I would call salesmen, and one older fella at a computer terminal whom the other three treated as a boss or a manager. Nobody greeted me or said hello when I went in. Alright, no biggie. I walked around looked at all the beautiful bikes before setting my sights on a Speed 400. I started in really studying it from all angles. Touching it a lot just feeling things. NOBODY among those 4 acted like I even existed. I was a GHOST. My biggest single thing I wanted to do was to sit on one. I needed to check and see if it's not too tall for me, and see how the seat, etc feels. Normal stuff IOW. Of course I was not going to do that until a salesman came over and I asked him permission. I never found even one of the four there ever make eye contact with me. Again, I was a GHOST. SO, I tried one last giant hint that I wanted some help. I stood the bike up vertically off its kickstand and wobbled it around a bit. NOTHING. No response. I was a ghost for sure. Well.........no problem. There are other Triumph dealers in Thailand. I will take my business elsewhere in 2 or 3 months when I am ready to buy, and I will be paying cash for it. Just not to them.
Interesting, i was immediately approached and serviced when i went in, which is usually what happens in similar shops. Cant sell a bike if you don't chat with the customers.
@@Rides4Kickz The only thing I can think of is I am silver -haired, and walking with a cane (due to my double-knee replacement). Nevermind I have been riding bikes since I was 12 in 1967...... longer than any two of those youngsters entire lives.
Vega headlights, distinctive pre 1974 Vega bumper. It’s a Vega. Flag on SBD is Iceland. Somewhere around a quarter of Icelandic people have Irish ancestry.
Definitely a Vega hatchback. Not only the headlights and bumper, but the grill, the hood, the windshield...everything except maybe the side mirror. Kinda rusted out though.
Hoping to pick up a scooter and motorcycle when arrive this fall. I have a triumph tiger 900 gt pro here in the USA. The speed 900 looks interesting. Are you still looking at the Super meteor 650? Also saw the Zontes 350 in an earlier video. What do you think of these?
The Zontes is quickly gaining in the Thai Market, it comes with more features than the competitors at a lower price. The 3 bikes I'm considering are the Super meteor 650, Speed Twin 900 and the CB1100RS.
