why? It's a good stable hobby that can lead to a career if you choose to do so in repairing them. Everyone always will need a vacuum cleaner, so there will always be a need for skilled tradesmen.
sad. :-( I'm just getting started in it, for my own personal collection for now. Hopefully once I get my workbench cleared off I can start cracking some open and give them some TLC and a good cleaning and fresh oil and any broken parts replaced. I've been teaching myself how, I seem to learn better that way rather than having someone saying "do this do that"

Been there done that. I just lost interest in them. I had too many any the shop I had worked at closed.
