The cool thing is W124s have the real wood interior. Even todays mercedes do not have it. Mine been thru 11 feet flood and still restoring. Engine is strong, just the interior need restore.
The soft close tailgate is really cool but that was by no means a new technology. I’ve got a 1963 Cadillac Eldorado and that has a soft-closing trunk that still works perfectly!

You know I had the chance to own one here in Tennessee for 2.5k but it would not go into reverse which was a deal breaker for me because of necessity but still was the only one I’ve ever seen here never seen it again but now I own a 93 accord and it’s the 3rd one in this place that I’ve seen modified/restored
That car deserves a 90 million out of a 1 million the car I like the car the car is nice I’m not even joking or being sarcastic literally the car is nice looks like a decent car that I’ll buy and keep until the day I die
