Ineffable Husbands was the one thing that kept me from committing suicide during the one full year of extreme isolation and extreme social distancing forced on us during the pandemic lockdown/confinement (a whole lot of people took their lives because they were deprived of in person human contacts like seeing family and friends and in person social interraction like school and work, including children as young as 5 - 13 because they were not allowed to play with other little kids and I'm not even talking about all the physical health issues and mental health issues caused by the confinement and the sedentary lifestyle caused by the confinement and numerous curfews and the government eventually admitted that they were wrong and that confinement didn't slow let alone stop the spread of the virus and that all it did was destroy the economy and increase inflation and cause all kinds of physical and mental health issues related to extreme social isolation and the sedentary lifestyle because people were confined to their homes nearly 24 hours a day except maybe for getting grocery, people would be arrested and fined merely for talking a walk on the street and exercising even if they kept away from public spaces, just going outside was criminalized, also some articles online said that we will pay dearly as a society for this psychological experiment and that studies show that extreme social isolation for well over year is very bad for people and that loneliness and social isolation reduce life span as much as smoking 15 cigarettes a day and that we will live about 10 years less than people who are not confined to their homes nearly 24 hours a day for well over a year, we will die younger as a result of that), Ineffable Husbands was the one thing that kep me from committing suicide during this full year of extreme loneliness and social isolation, the one thing that got me out of bed in the morning was reading Ineffable Husbands fanfictions of AO3 (Archive of Our Own), and now I find out that Neil Gaiman destroyed Ineffable Husbands and broke up Aziraphale and Crowley in the season 2 finale!?
First First, Cassandra Clare did this to Alec Lightwood and Magnus Bane in book 5 of "The Mortal Instruments" (a love story between a half-angel being and a half-demon being, and both of them are half-human), and now Neil Gaiman does the same thing to Aziraphale and Crowley in season 2 of the "Good Omens" TV show. Thanks for nothing Gaiman! You ruined everything, Gaiman! Why can't you folks, just go after/destroy opposite-sex couples or human couples for a change!? Why can't you just leave same-sex couples and angelic couples alone and stop destroying minorities!? How could you break them up and destroy their love relationship, Gaiman? Thanks for nothing, Gaiman! I'm gonna go drown my sorrow, anger and bitterness in a giant milkshake at the ice cream parlor and then go through a couple boxes of tissues, I should send you the bill for the giant milkshake and the boxes of tissues, Gaiman! Then I'm going to try and mend my poor broken heart with even more "Good Omens season 2 fix it" fanfictions on AO3 because that's the only way we'll see Aziraphale and Crowley get the happy ending that they should have. 😭😩

Also, the other angels cast Crowley out of heaven for asking questions (I think they went behind God's back to do this because as some people pointed out, heaven does not equal God and heaven's will doesn't equal God's will in "Good Omens" because God disappear from heaven and from the picture after the crucifixion and no one in heaven seem to have contacts with Her nor do we see Her afterward, I doubt she would condemn people for asking question because that's just not something God would do, God doesn't feel threaten by our questions or fly off the handle like a think-skinned triggered special snowflake when people use the brains He or She gave them and ask questions, and people who think that God is like are just dumb, it's mostly dumb radical Right-Wingers who think God is like that or who claim that God is like that to scare people into not questioning Conservative ideology), but they tried to murder Aziraphale with hellfire. They cast Crowley out of heaven when he didn't even do anything wrong, but not the people who tried to murder Aziraphale which is an actual crime and evil deed. They tried to bring murder and bloodshed into a supposedly holy place like heaven and they didn't have a free style dive into a pool of boiling sulfur. In what fucking world is asking questions a worse "crime" than bringing murder and bloodshed into a supposedly holy place like heaven? Heaven in "Good Omens" has become a cult and the Archangels at the top are the cult leaders, and they and Metatron want Aziraphale as their supreme cult leader in season 3, they want him and Crowley separated and they want to make sure that Aziraphale is too busy to stop Armaggedon the sequel and the wiping out of most if not all life on Earth.

Concerning the "Crowley was Raphael/an Archangel before his fall" theory:
We have more information now because of season 2, also I think this is even a confirmation. In season 2, Gabriel's "I know" to "it hurts to remember" seems pretty personal. I think Crowley and Gabriel may have had the same level/rank in heaven (if Crowley wasn't even more powerful and competent) since during the meeting about "Armageddon the sequel" Gabriel first says he's "the only first order archangel in the room" then changes to "in the universe actually". Then there's a close-up on Crowley. I wouldn't be surprised if he used to be one of them and ended up having his memory altered or completely wiped when he fell. Knowing Crowley, he would've endured the pain to recover his full knowledge of himself and his past and would have ended with the complete distrust and hate he now has towards The Up. These words and this close-up on Crowley seem to confirm that Crowley was an Archangel before his fall. Though the name Raphael is never brought up, it would totally make sense if Crowley was Raphael before his fall (there are good arguments for that, also Crowley canonically helped create at least 1 nebula and creating stars was one of Raphael's jobs, also in judaism and catholicism Raphael's main mentions are his missions of healing and rescue, and we know that Crowley bring healing and rescue to Aziraphale not to mention his desire to help Aziraphale put a stop to Armageddon and save planet Earth and all life on it from destruction which is also a form of rescue and healing, so we have creating stars and bringing healing and rescue, it all fits, so "he was Raphael" is the most likely answer, also Crowley's encounter with Muriel in season 2 episode 6 demonstrate that Crowley is able to gain access to heaven's interface something only a higher-up member of heaven can do which proves he was an archangel before his fall).
Also, it's very possible that Neil Gaiman love the "Crowley was Raphael" theory and decided that Crowley was an Archangel before his fall/in his past and that he would make that canon in season 2, hence Gabriel's words and this close-up on Crowley, which is pretty much an explicit confirmation that Crowley was an Archangel before his fall. Also, the way Crowley said "You can" when Gabriel said that he can't remember anything from the past 😮. And the fact that Crowley says "Let there be light" like he did before in Heaven might mean that Crowley did regain his memory back. Also, it's important to note that Aziraphale's name means "Of Raphael", because Aziraphale was meant to be Raphael/Crowley's romantic soulmate and companion, Aziraphale and Crowley were meant for each other, which is why God gave Aziraphale a name that means "Of Raphael". Also, for a great fanfic on this, read "Do you remember?" by Torrachi on AO3 (Archive of Our Own).
