Which version of the JSN-SR04t are you using here.. 1, 2 or 3? I hear 1 works, but that 2 and 3 don't work with stock NewPing. (I know for a fact for v3) fixed below. To work w/v3, several code changes need to be made for this sensor to be useful. 1) The pulse start, stop, pulseIn() timing needs to change (longer pulse and delays with shared element) 2) You should change pinMode(triggerPin, INPUT) to pinMode(triggerPin, INPUT_PULLUP) 3) You may need to discard anything over 20ft/610cm (error readings come back as 676cm (infinite))* 4) You may need to make reading a continuous loop that throws away anything BUT good readings (

Hi Alex, i dind't use it under water, the sensor is located in the lid of a water tank pointing down. I measure the distance between the sensor and the water and with that value I can calculate how many water remain in the tank.

The only problem in the distance from the sensor to the Arduino, is limited to the length of the original sensor cable, No more than 2-3 Mts.
