well, generally mediocre. Moreover, I am from Russia. But I don't really respect these guys. Symphonic metal giants? 😆 giants are Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Therion and a few other smaller giants, but certainly not Imperial Age. An absolutely mediocre group, zero individuality, no “signature” recognizable sound, mediocre vocalists, mediocre musicians, songs about nothing, average recording quality. Do these guys have potential? I don't see him, sorry. Most of all, of course, they copy Therion.

Such a negative commen. These guys are great and very grateful for their fans. They are doing this without a record label. The guitar player and drummer are no longer in the band. The red (annakia4a) head is also a vocal teacher and also releases her own music. Red head is married to the guitar player. This is from a live stream further launch of the new album.
@@ManuelluisPereira Yes, I'm a little skeptic. And my ears are a little spoiled by good music. Everything you listed does not make this group any outstanding. The fact that the guys are working and trying is, of course, commendable, but already at this stage of their activity I can say that such efforts will lead to little. They will not become giants of symphonic metal if they continue to copy other famous bands and do not change their vocalists to those whose voice timbre will become signature and recognizable. When you hear For example Within Temptation on the radio, you will immediately understand who sings it and what kind of band it is. Can you tell red-haired Kiara from thousands of other singers with classical vocals? I think no. Musically, they also don't show anything new or interesting. The concept of the group was copied from Therion, to which, for example, a more “fashionable” drum sound was added. Not all of the most famous symphonic metal bands immediately had contracts with major labels. This did not stop them from releasing albums that immediately brought them fame and these same contracts. Why do you think major labels are in no hurry to sign contracts with Imperial age? Yes, because they are nothing particularly interesting.
Any normal people would be proud of those artists who find recognition abroad, but for some reason you desperately want to convince everyone that your compatriots are a shitty band. Despite the fact that they have videos with hundreds of thousands of views and one with 5 million - not a bad result for unsigned artists. But actually you can relax, they are no longer a Russian band: They, like all sane people on the planet, condemned Russia's aggression against Ukraine, then left the country and now they have in fact become a British band.
Another Russian metal band that is successful outside of Russia, Slaughter to Prevail, relocated to the United States for the same reasons, and the third (and last) internationally famous Russian metal band Arkona apparently also left the country. So the only remaining most successful metal band that you have left is "soviet Iron Maiden" - Aria. A band that will soon be 40 years old. Enjoy and be proud of them, there is almost nothing left. Maybe soon the Kremlin will ban heavy metal altogether - it would be quite in their style.
@@SokolRock I will not admire mediocre music for patriotic reasons. I think I'm just normal. I like many Russian bands, although more in the genre of rock music than metal. Metal music in our country is not very good. even with a group as old and famous as Aria, who have built a career on plagiarism.

Hi. :) Can you react to something that probably no one except me will recommend? Another amazing symphonic metal band 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera), it's japanese bans from Visual Kei movement. Visual Kei is about music, fashion and subculture, it was created in early 80s by band X Japan, in that times it was something bad to be different, not matching to grey japanese society where everyone should be the same and also not saying what thet really think and feel, so X Japan created visual look with colourfull anf reach clothes, hear styles and makeup, songs were rich of emotions and often about difficult topics. Now there are many variety of Visual Kei, some are about music, some about fashion and some sbout both, I know maybe 40 and I think it's not all. :D Matenrou Opera is Tanbi Kei, it's often more elefant in fashion, victorian style, but not always (Matenrou Opera have their own style), but it's about symphonic music (this specific band calling themselves as symphonic speed metal, but like every Visual Kei band, they using many genres in their music, Visual Kei bands love experiments with music). Please react to song "喝采と激情のグロリア" (Kassai to Gekijou no Gloria) live from their 16th anniversary concert from this year, it's on their official channel but written in japanese, so that's why I wrote band's name and song title in japanese. Visual Kei have some theatrical elements in vocals, expression etc, I think you would love Sono's vocal, very beautiful and unique voice and impressive technique, very powerfull vocal with amazing strong vibrato. I hope you can react to it. :)
This is an exceptional long song. Most are around 5 to 8 mn long (except another exceptional long song called Turn The Sun Off) and should not reproduce this effect of too long song.
Anyway, if you react to another IA song in the future, I suggest it is taken from this same live concert.

IA is one of my favorite Russian metal bands (Even if they now reside in Turkiye.) together with e.g. Grai, Arkona & Bagira.
The are UK based now. Turkey was just a temporary step in their exile.
