Hey all... so I broke my clockspring a while back when I had to disconnect the steering column to do some other work. I accidentally turned the wheel with the steering column disconnected!!! 😧 Clockspring was is so ****** delicate it broke😖. I replaced it and brought my camera just for you. Hope this video helps!
What part number for a Tacoma that has audio and cruise controls? I’m having a tough time finding one that says it has both. It’s either one or the other in product descriptions.
So I did this and my steering wheel is "off" now. I thought I followed everything to a T. Everything works and fits as it should but the steering wheel is not aligned right. I tried removing it and and alinging it and it just moved it the opposite way... But i Cant get it in the center. Is there anything I can do to align it or do I need to take it to a tire shop? Thank You
If you pull the steering wheel all the way off again, make sure your magic marker lines are aligned, then reinstall the wheel straight. Hopefully you did the marker lines before. If not, another way is to make the front wheels as straight as possible, then reinstall the steering wheel.
I'm sorry... we had to remove the link because it went dead... ie... no longer available. It is not a Toyota OEM clockspring, but an aftermarket one... I believe it came from Amazon, but it's been a while.
I guess it is possible that a defective airbag unit could cause this issue. If you replaced the clock spring and the light stayed on, there may be something else going on. Double check your connections, and test the clock spring wiring for continuity before messing with the airbag itself.

Awesome vid thanks! Took me half an hour in my taco and a cheaper aftermarket cable from Amazon. Toyota wanted 400 for the spiral cable !
Thank you for the upload, it helped me and i replaced mine without any complications. 🙏
Nice video!
Do u have a part number for the clock spring?
I can not get the yellow clip back into my new clock spring. Was it difficult for you? I'm gonna try again tomorrow morning.
This was a very efficient way to show the process. Thank you!
Awesome tutorial, made my job so much easier
Glad it helped!

Do you happen to have the link of where you bought the clock spring from?

@@adigaarmory No probs! Thanks for being great.
Great video thanks
Do you have a video for 2015 sienna?
Unfortunately, no. But I can't imagine the process being much different for any modern Toyota.
What year is this truck? vital!
Gen 2 ran from 2005-2015... the process is essentially the same for those model years. It was in the descript. but we just added it to the title.
Good video, thanks! It helped a lot!
Ur the man thank u bru
Does having an airbag affect the airbag light on? Or is it just the clock spring?

Thanks for the video!!
You lost me in those pictures, i wish you did a visual one by one tutorial of you doing whatever you were doing.
