Believe it or not there's actually some truth to the way this mother is handling the situation. Granted this is an unrealistic example but many mothers will go to great lengths to cover up the bad deeds of their children, or simply put blinders on and refuse to see those bad deeds. And to be fair some father's will do this as well. Unfortunately this is how bad adults are created. And then the state has to deal with it and we all know how well the state is at correcting behavior. The fact that they even call it corrections is laughable.

10/26/2023 & I am updaiting my comments a little. I thought this was an original movie idea when it turns out, from reading the description this time, that this is in fact a remake from an earlier movie. I saw that original movie for a second time and didn't put the two together, primarily because the plots were so different (the hunt in one and absent in the other). Both are good movies. My original comments still hold up. THIS WAS A FRIGGIN GREAT SCARY MOVIE! I don't usually go in for such praise of horror movies, especially because I have my faves (Alien franchise, Jeepers Creepers, Species, The Thing and only a handful of others) but this movie was very scary. There were a few problems with sequence of events (policeman in the car, "dinner," and so on). I watched this movie late into the early morning, past my bedtime, because I was gripped. I hope I can find others like it. You want to be scared then this movie might do it for you.
This version was obviously blessed with a higher budget than the low budget original and is a more solid production featuring superior performances. I bought a DVD of the original and found that all scenes of the deformed cannibal infant Rick Baker worked so hard to create had been eliminated with no clue as to the reason for the censorship. I interviewed Rick for Marvel Comics Group's Monsters of the Movies magazine under the canine pseudonym "Al Satian" shortly after the original movie was completed, but most of the segments concerning it were deleted from the printed feature through the editor's hatchet job and some mishandling by an associate editor that had to be deliberate. The published interview was therefore a disaster for which I took the heat.
The director should've showed the gore nudity and how the baby actually looked that's what really makes a real horror movie and that's what people really wanna see
Agree. Director myself, it was his lack of presenting another level of fear, not necessarily needed to be so gory but much scarier for sure. This was just splashing red paint and frame at the end of baby's teeth. By the way, very ugly baby doll, and it was presented like unbelievable angel looking one. Many director's mistakes in that sense (being aware of the baby and his looks throughout the movie)
@@milicamilenavejnovic3765 you are so right and I like the way you put that I've been a horry movie fan since I was a lil boy and I know what it takes to make someone not want to watch it alone in the dark lol thanks for your input 😘
Not so. Depends on what kind of spectator you are. It's not universal. This film is triggering the imagination of the spectator. Bit by bit, we all create a visual of the possible monster in our heads. Show "it" from the beginning, and that whole tension is gone.
In your face gore is a more modern horror concept. A lot of older horror is slower, builds the suspense & is more psychological. Also, seeing the terrible 'thing' is sometimes like what happened with Jaws: The shark itself when it appears is a bit of a let down . The absolute worst bit for me was the start when it's dark, she's screaming & being spun round in circles in the sea by something you cant see.

I watched the old "Its Alive" movies as a kid but could never remember the name of the movie. I didn't know they made a remake or I would've watched it years ago if I had just remembered the name. I just happened to see a clip on HBO's Euphoria and decided to Google "mutant baby movie" and now I'm here and also found the old movies!! Been dying to see these.
I always have to put the captions on, because the sound is always low, no captions for this movie unfortunately. Seems to be that not all babies are angels after all. That's one scary baby, she can only cover up so much.

I saw this when I was 9 in 1975. This is the only movie to give me nightmares. I kick my feet in my sleep probably because of this movie. My covers always have to be tucked under the mattress, no hanging blankets either. Lol😅
Thanks for posting this !🤗🤗🤗🤗 Wow! This was very good ! There were no boreing getting to the main story like alot of movies do. Just enough of 'seeing' the 'baby' to keep the interrest up without over kill. Wasn't over kill with gore like stupid slasher movies, they left it to one's mind to fill in the blanks . I don't want to give the movie away but if you like great movies this is one of them for sure. It was a fun ride, but you'll be glad when the doors swing open and you know you're out of the 'funhouse'.
I saw the original decades ago at the drive-in. Even though I only saw it the one time, it stuck with me. I've been looking for it for years with no luck. All I remember was the hospital scene, and the baby attacked a milkman in his truck. I just remember the milk flowing out of the back of the truck, with blood mixing with as it streamed down the street. The movie poster was classic. The baby bassinet with the claw hand coming out of it. This remake is also very good, which is a pleasant surprise.
Great movie, however I didn't feel sorry for the pregnant lady. How can she keep It a secret that her newborn is responsible for all those killings. She could've prevented her best friend and her lover from dying.

🥀🍸👠' I Know ... Right❗SOOOOO Wicked ...🩸💀🩸 ... ❣️👣❣️💥👁️👁️💥..😬😈😁 ... ✨😅😭🤣✨..
This is an hour and a half of my life I will never get back.
Agreed...
you forgot the time writing your comment......
Glad I've seen your comment,
That is one creepy baby 😱
I got that same feeling when I saw interview with an assassin..
This remake is good, but the babies in the original and It Lives again were so scary they did not look like normal babies, they scared the crap out of me, the little monsters.
His mother luvs him so much, it happens a mother luv there child no matter what. Daz great movie 👌
I saw this movie when it first came out. Pretty good!
I remember the 1st version of this movie, holy smokes ! I didn't think they could top that but this was a really good movie. Well done!!
The origonal is based on my life i am daneil, and it was my uncle who was the killer he would jump out his wheelchair ans walk on his hands his toe nails were so sharp he cut them all up,hes still out there now hes not clipped his nails in years his feet are stinky too hold your noses.he cant be stopped his petrol wheelchair is rapid nothing can catch him

OKkkkkkkay......so that's an interresting story. If I see an old dude in a wheel chair racing down the street burning rubber I'll be sure to get out of the way.😁
Have you ever seen a crazy looking ghost in a wedding dress holding a knife? I took a picture of two girls in a pub, the building dates to the late 1700's. She's in one of the video's I have up.
I've got lots of new ghost pics and will get into making more videos when real life stuff slows down abit.
Alot of them are from Gettysburg.
Take care & stay safe. 🤘👻💖
Nice Film, thanks Sci-Fi Central und greats from Germany!!!
Many thanks!
This was great movie and perfect for my today's mood.
Freaking awesome, thank you. Peace and much love sent from Ontario, Canada.
I remember when the original came out at the theaters. My brother saw it and I only seen the ad for it and that alone scared me bad enough to have a nightmare. Although this was set up with a different storyline, I thought they did a great job.
This is based on actual events im daneil and it was my uncle who is tje killer he would walk on his hands using his toenails to slice up the victims,he escaped in his secret petrol wheelchair fleeing to canada his feet smell he goes around trimming folks hedges and gardens with his toes.🧦👁👣🍁🤸♂️♿⁉️🇨🇦
my best friend and i saw the original when it came out in the 70's. we screamed and screamed. it was great. when we were in her car leaving the theater, the glove box flew open on its own. we grabbed each other and screamed, "it's alive."
Original name of movie please?
@@ketakipalwankar4673 I can't remember if this one showed the name or not, in the intro.
@@kimplummer2672 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I watched the old "Its Alive" movies as a kid but could never remember the name of the movie. I didn't know they made a remake or I would've watched it years ago if I had just remembered the name. I just happened to see a clip on HBO's Euphoria and decided to Google "mutant baby movie" and now I'm here and also found the old movies!! Been dying to see these.
Lone Wolf:You know they made a number two "It´s alive again".Can I ask where you found the original?
I really enjoyed this movie. Interested to see what the original was like now.
Great remake!! Thanks for sharing it!!
Cheers Kim!
Why couldn't this movie have subtitles??
Pretty good. Worth a watch. Thanks for the upload!
Great movie. Thanks for posting 🌹🇵🇹
Hi aiyou single
This was great movie absolutely loved it 👌wasn't expecting that ending also Jack Ellis is in this he's legandry great actor 🤗❤️💕
Really enjoyed this remake
I always have to put the captions on, because the sound is always low, no captions for this movie unfortunately. Seems to be that not all babies are angels after all. That's one scary baby, she can only cover up so much.
It's been recorded better for headphone wearers. Put earbuds or headphones on when the movies are too low.
Not everyone can wear headphones or earbuds@@mandielou
Movie title, It's Alive, 2009. Top Notch Supernatural Horror Thriller. A great remake of the 70s Classic. Very well made and acted especially by The lead actress, This film is Scary, Creepy and suspenceful and has a great Script, a very entertaining and enjoyable movie! A great night in with the popcorn so Enjoy the Show! ⭐⭐⭐Outa 5
DEMONYO NA BATA🤭😟
Mother was more creepy than this creature 😆
The lead actresses voice is that squeaky baby voice that's like nails on a chalkboard. I made it to the 10 minute mark when she went into labor and started screaming...I can't handle it. It'll drive me insane and 😐👎
@@shajim9895 umm hi
I've never seen the original and this being a remake, was very well done. I wish they had showed the baby more.
Well done.
Loved the movie.
Fantastic amazingly awesome movie just another sad ending .
Damn that baby gets around 🤣
Yes he did look like an angel...one of the fallen ones
Worth to watch... Nice movie... 10/10
Wow this is worth a watch,I really enjoyed every minute of it though I only got to see the killer baby once, don't waste your time scrolling through the comments, watch it it's incredible 💯👍👏
I saw this when I was 9 in 1975. This is the only movie to give me nightmares. I kick my feet in my sleep probably because of this movie. My covers always have to be tucked under the mattress, no hanging blankets either. Lol😅
This is the remake not the original

Great movie and good acting
Thanks for posting this !🤗🤗🤗🤗
Wow!
Good movie . Well acted by everyone and Bijou Phillips has those actual vampire teeth so it worked extra well 😂 haha
SHE'S REMEMBER ME OF ASHLEY GREENE 🛐🛐🛐🛐💛💛💛💛😫😫😫
her baby is safer to be around than her real life husband
Watch when the cops go up to the house when electricity is off and the doorbell still rings. Lol love catching the mistakes.
I'm right now at that part 😂
@godmadethedonkeytalkjuliem8404 me too! 😂😂
In Germany most of our doorbells work with batteries
Looking forward to a continuation
WOW What A Mother Will Do To Protect There Child❤ Still A Great Movie 🎥🍿
Great ending.
It's worth it u can watch it 😁😙
See, this actually feels like a movie.
Love horror movies, this is one of those great scary type its worth the watch 👌👌
I saw this it a drive in with my family. I will never forget sitting on the back of the station wagon until it got scary. 😂
I liked it. Her choice at the end was what made the movie worth it
I saw the original decades ago at the drive-in.
Look it up on you tube .search it's alive 1977
Ashley Greene Was 22 Years In 2009 And Great Acting In All Of Her Movies
A really great movie I enjoyed it
I remember seeing the original movie when I was little. I've never seen this remake.
I watched this movie at the cinema here in BRAZIL, IT'S TERRIBLE, SCARY, VERY GOOD THE MOVIE
Should be watched late at night in an old house that has creaky walls.
Great movie, however I didn't feel sorry for the pregnant lady. How can she keep It a secret that her newborn is responsible for all those killings. She could've prevented her best friend and her lover from dying.
Total crazy, Can't say any more. Speechless.
Great remake. Loved it.
