D-Day 80th Commemoration | L-Birds back to Normandy 2024

From June 6 to 9, 2024, the Norman association L-Birds back to Normandy organized an unprecedented gathering of liaison planes, called L-Birds (L for Liaison).
This gathering brought together Piper L-4, Stinson L-5 Sentinel, but also very rare L-Birds, even for some, today the only example in the world in flying condition!
More than thirty liaison planes, all authentic and in their historic colors from 1939-45, reached Normandy from the four corners of Europe.
