Thats my old surf spot as a kid.(why the fuk aint you surfing it). when that swell comes in this place can be a monster buts thats a little baby Ive see 10/15+ feet point breaks that go for 2-5min rides (on king tides)... the whole place from basically a little further down south of here (spikey convict bridge).. and to the north golf club point at swansea.. goes of its tits.. Its also a shark reserve not far from here too... hahahahahahaha....
My guess is that its remote, but then again we see average folks watching from the rocks. Second guess would be that there's better or more convenient waves that are as good or better. Third guess - everyone slept in.
Mid winter is about 8 degrees, crowds can be 0-30 people depending on the day and other spots, had a diver taken by a great white two years back just up near those mountains in the background, access is through a sheep farmers property who's been known to slash tyres and point a rifle at people. Oh yeah, and the current is absolutely fucked.
