The Treasury | View into the treasure chamber

The passage between the burial and treasure chambers was not walled up. There lay the God of the Dead Anubis (Carter no. 261) on a shrine with pallbearer poles, seemingly guarding this room. On the back wall, a spectacular golden canopic chest can be seen. This is where the Pharaoh’s mummified innards were found.
