I'd like to see a real video where the hammer is seen going through a variety of fabrics. I'd also like to see 14mm Prym eyelets being tested too. We're having no luck with Hemline AND Prym - woeful instructions, it's 2017, surely they can produce a better video with real projects.

Don't get me started on the 5mm ones, doesn't pierce, no clear instructions on the packet (if you would like to call them instructions) as well as this plastic very flimsy.

I have given up on these Prym products. If you want to buy frustration buy Prym. I have better success with separate fabric cutter and eyelet pliers from the German retailer LIDL. My friends recommend Crop A Dile.

I'm trying to do this with kitchen towels and it's not working at all.. It won't pierce. is it because the material is too thin?

no I tried it on thick leather doubled up and it worked. Make sure you use a wooden chopping board and a hammer. You only really need the 'A' part

No instructions on card that make any sense. Mine has an enormous washer, with no instructions as how to use it. Shall ignore their products in the future.

This product is crap. They don't show you hammering it, because it doesn't actually work. The smaller size does not have instructions either. I managed to poke a hole with some pointed tweezers, but there is no way these grommets will hammer.
