It is about pushing an ideological agenda where compassion and selfdetermination and inclusivity are absolute values while fair play, Justice, women safety and truth are secondary or unimportant. For some of the activists is also about forcing people to submit and relearn language so they can be easily manipulated.

They can't cancel everyone. Women need to stand together, and demand an end to this lunacy. That is literally the only thing that will change this bad policy. They trust that you won't all stand together. They know they can punish just a few of you, but if ALL female athletes stand together and boycott sports until this bad policy is ended.

@@apebass2215 Yeah, you're right! Definitely an advantage in Snooker. On second thoughts I would keep Men and Womens events and have separate 'open events' where both men and women could compete against each other in sports such as these. I also think that separate ranking lists, based on sex, should be maintained in these sports.

I'm glad you are at least discussing this subject which bullying and threats of cancellation mostly keep off the agenda- it is so blindingly obvious that men should not be competing against women in sports, just because they falsely insist that they are women. If they said they were children would they be permitted to compete against kids- some of these inadequate cheats would probably stoop that low. Women have their own sports categories for a reason. Letting delusional men into women's sport is unfair. Nobody is trying to prevent transpeople taking part in sport but there is already a category in which Lia Thomas is free to compete - it's called the men's category
If he worries that he might be a tad less competitive than previously if he *chooses* to take female hormones then he can either delay so doing or suck it up and compete anyway- he would surely still be less disadvantaged than the women against whom he insists on competing.
If he were genuinely a woman, which he is not then he would not be destroying women's sport and the hopes and dreams of thousands of women and girls. He is a pathetiic specimen who has chosen the soft option which carries no honour and earns him the scorn of any decent person who believes in fair play and opportunities for women and girls

@@haitolawrence5986 Not only that, they'd actually have to have _two_ trans-categories: women (originally male) and men (originally women.) If you put them all together the male-to-female competitors would win everything. (Yep, this is the level of crazy we in the West are talking about, while the world nudges closer to WW3😵‍💫)

    • @secretsquirrel992

Why should they? There are no special categories for depressed people, anxious, or schizophrenic athletes, so why should there be for people who have a delusion that they are the opposite sex? Lia Thomas already has a category in which he can swim - it's called the men's category.

    • @walker4651

For fairness sake, I totally agree that trans athletes should only compete against other trans athletes with the same sexual identification. The only fair alternative to this option is to allow trans women to compete only against men. To make any athletic event fair for those who compete, different categories must exist. For example, amateurs don’t compete against professionals, and the non-disabled don’t compete against the disabled! Logic and fairness must triumph over someone’s irrational feelings! This is a lesson that every child must learn if they are to function as an adult!

The only way this will change is when women stand up and refuse to compete. The "authorities" will soon change their minds when there is no competition. If they don't do that their sport will be doomed. We should all support women in this.

Having larger heart & lungs than a women of comparative size is an advantage that wont go away.
Having faster reactions & muscle twitch fibres wont go away
Having mens strength often 50% more in upper body fades but not enough & particularly in the legs it doesn’t really go away.
Having bigger feet & hands gives balance & leverage & especially helps in swimming.
Having lowered testosterone but it still being higher than any women is an advantage
Having a denser build broader shoulders extra ribs thicker skin thicker bones doesn’t go away
I respect trans people but these advantages do not go away & the fact is there not really women there just less like a man than they used to be.I’ll call him her or her him to be polite & I respect them as equal but gender dysphoria doesn’t change your biology…it’s not fair on the 50% of humans that are women to sideline them so that 0.5% can be prioritised & comforted.

Women's Sport exists because men didn't want to share the field with them. Seperate but equal accomplishes the same parity here as it did for Jim Crow segregation laws. Less funding for people who aren't men. It's absurd that the fight is focused on 5% of the population that can never Mount even a statistical threat to ciswomen, when the real focus should be funding and integration. Women's bathroom have a similar history, men didn't want to wait on women. Instead of saying "surely" read actual history on the topic.

Even while this is happening the feminist movement is still fighting for it to continue. If us men say anything we are attacked relentlessly. Wonder what China, Russia and Islam think about this issue.
"People have been completely bought off and silenced by gizmos and toys. I'm gonna enjoy this as a spectator. It's a big circus, a big parade. Whatever metaphor you want to use. I think of it as a freak show. I'm sitting there and I have my note book out and I'm enjoying the show and I wish that I could live a thousand years to see it all pan out. The rise of Russia, the rise of China, the moslemisation of Europe, the decline of the white race. It's gonna be an amazing story as it develops." - George Carlin.

Having seperate events for trans people wouldn't work. They are a very small minority there wouln't be enough of them to hold a race meeting. The only answer is mens and womens sports full stop.

What's the point of competing if it's not a level playing field and so unfair. I don't understand why so many female athletes are too afraid to speak out on this if not for themselves but the future of women's and girls sports. Sometimes doing the right thing takes personal cost and courage.

There is no such thing as a "transwoman" - there is no sub category of woman. Andrew, language is everything, please do not call this man by the female pronoun. He is a man - no matter what pills he takes.

⁴ need to reclassify the Male category to "Open". That way any person not fitting narrow classification of female can still compete. This would also allow intersex people i.e Casta Semenya to compete.
