Played the leviathan raid once with a guy who was in the process of getting higher then the stratosphere. This guy by the end couldn't turn his character left. LFGs be wild.

@@jakedavis7950 there isn't gonna be a raid coming out this season, its a dungeon, next season will be a raid (either King's Fall or Wrath of the Machine from the first Destiny) and then the season after that will be a dungeon, so on and so forth

The best part of the season for me is Calus's voice lines throughout the story missions and free roam.
The leviathan raid brought back some good memories, gathered some randoms met in public events and just went for it. Took 6 hours just to clear one encounter but it was some of the best moments I've experienced in online games.
Lfg is a big part of the destiny experience
Man, it feels like deja vu back to when Shadowkeep first launched and I was still doing Menagerie runs. This season feels like a blend between both of those worlds, and I’m all for it.

This is the 2nd season I'll be playing since I lost my best friend, who introduced me to Destiny (and gaming as a whole really). His favorite raid was the Leviathan, and his favorite D1 guns were Trespasser, Dreg's Promise, and NLB, so seeing this trailer brought back some good memories. My first thought after seeing this was to text him the link, cause I know he would be hyped about it. Miss ya bud

This season is going to be huge about peoples pasts. At the end promo art you can see crow facing uldren, Zavala facing what is most likely his dead wife, and Caital facing either her father, umun arath, or ghaul

I didn't think that we would be going back to the leviathan so soon. It looks sick as fuck, and I'm glad that they're wrapping up a lot of loose ends from Shadowkeep. Looks to be a solid season, really excited to see where it goes.

Me, who has been begging for a roaming scythe super for hunter for ages: "You can't do this to me!!!"
The trace rifle kind of looks like an ornament for the 30th anniversary trace rifle imo.
Honestly, it might be his wife. The seasonal art at the very very end shows the nightmares specific to each of the three characters; Ghaul and Caitl, Crow and Uldren, and the nightmare facing Zavala does not look like either Asher OR Cayde at all, looks more woman-like, and it would be a good way to tie that in, as some lore bits suggest that the loss of his wife still weighs heavily on him to this day. Good way to let others become aware of that backstory, and could be a thing for the other characters featured in this season.

Out of all D1 exotics I never though Trespasser would be one to return to D2 but I also never thought I'd miss that exotic
For players like me who went were on a very long hiatus with destiny 2 or their first time joining was during beyond light and the witch queen, the leviathan is going to be very exciting to explore. My friend is always talking about how he loved the leviathan and wished it was back. So this is going to be very exciting for me. It may not hold up as its no longer a raid, but it will still be enjoyable no doubt

Dunno if it's just trailer magic, and I missed something, but the Titan getting the one hammer back to his hand directly gives me hope we finally get a mjolnir summon back exotic.
Wish they would have given Void Warlock and Hunter alternate melees as well. But we take what we can get

To answer people’s questions, yes the season of lost and risen were released on the same day as their campaign drop. But that was to stop the spoilers of the campaign they came with. This is the first time since arrivals that a mid season trailer hasn’t dropped in advance

The dungeon will have 2 reprised weapons, 4 new weapons and 1 exotic. I think I recognised Austringer, Drang (Baroque) and Beloved, which would be at least three reprised weapons, therefore unlikely to be from the dungeon.
