I hated my HOA then it's 25 year contract ended NOW all the good people left snowbirds lovely Canadians and Northerners, Families ( cops, nurses teachers...owners)
NOW all renters yards are not well kept garbage, junk cars everywhere. Parking on lawns, street and on private property w/o permission AND no interviews of residents so now 6 illegal families in a house, drug addicts, gypsies all bad squatters including a child predator on list came into several snowbirds homes lived 5 mo then refused to leave destroyed some homes with filth and threatened and hurt owners. They tried to fight but police did nothing and lawyers fees were ridiculous so they sold or abandoned and ran, Some rented to scum.
I feel unsafe now, rats, roaches, toads everywhere. Zombie junkies go in my yard to steal tools, my chickens, food plants, were siphoning gas from our cars and took my LR a/c out of my window while I'm at work or sleeping. Steal my Instacart and Amazon deliveries and my pet food and medicine delivery. Hundreds of dollars every month I don't get home in time!
YES, I put up cameras THEY removed them and stole them.
Cops do nothing they're overwhelmed don't care and say I have no proof who it is!!!
      Would welcome any HOA NOW!!

    • @mikemurphy5898
      @mikemurphy5898 Рік тому +1

Why? People can choose to live in one or not. If people want to live in an HOA, why shouldn't they be allowed to?
It's really horrifying that you actually think you're being open minded and promoting "freedom" by *limiting people's choices* and telling them what they can or can't do (I can hear the rebuttal now, "you mean like an HOA tells you what you can or can't do!?!!!?" read in a stupid voice). Yes, because giving people the *option* to subscribe to one style of neighborhood governance vs another is *completely* different than wholesale banning people's option to live under a particular style of rules and governance because you don't like a particular philosophy.
Idk if people really are getting stupider, it's ignorance or the school system, but I really, really hope you can recognize the difference.
The funny thing is people like to move to HOAs because they usually look really nice... ya know, some level of uniformity between houses, organized and structured funds policies for upkeep to perform preventive maintenance (much cheaper in the looooong run) and adequate, budgeted funding with a built- in cushion for decorations, community events and upkeep/improvement of common areas.
Then....people decide they hate them when the HOA fee goes from 250 to 400 because they probably bought more house than they could afford. Remember, the majority is NOT complaining about increases of HOA fees (unless the increase is absolutely necessary) because if that were true, they wouldn't pass the increase. Or because they tell you that you have to take your ugly @$$ decoration off the lawn, and the home owner gets offended like a petulant child who can't get their own way... and they get all bent because they "own" the place but somehow don't seem to understand how HOA works anymore when they start trumpeting that it's "their property" all indignantly, as if everyone can't see that is a total straw man argument but, at the end of the day, that's why it's the same for everyone. 😂😂
2 things. Personally I hate HOAs. I do a lot with buying, remodeling and then either selling or holding (renting) 1-5 unit buildings, and if there's an HOA involved, see you later, alligator... but that doesn't mean people shouldn't be allowed to have one if that's what they want.
The one thing I will say, is an HOAs fees, guidelines and regulations should never be imposed upon a residence that voted against one in an area that is trying to convert to an HOA, nor should the property be subjected to the HOA because it was sold or ownership otherwise transferred to a 3rd party. HOAs should only be put in place when the individual land owner elects to opt-in to the HOA.
Lastly, it's "disbanded," not disabandoned, Austin.

Were yelling at me because we recently built an awning that covers our motorcycles and I just walked over and pick the awning up. I didn’t even concrete it to the Ground. It’s free moving and they freaked out and told me I needed to connected to something so I talked to my fence which is not connected to the house either.

Use a sawsall to cut any roots making sure that you don't cut any that might compromise a trees health. Post set quikrete sets in 20-40 minutes, just pour in then add water.

They might send you a letter or just issue you a fine. If you don't pay that fine because you don't want to take down what you believe should be able to be displayed on your own property, They will send more fines and if you don't pay them they will get a lean on your property. To deal with HOA if you don't think it's worth moving out of your neighborhood...
Tip #1: Have a VERY large dog.
Tip #2: put up a fence
Tip #3: electrify the fence (make sure to put up a sign for legal reasons)
Tip #4: get a powerful hose, and water your yard, conveniently when they are nearby, however, try not to spray your electric fence
    Tip #5: Buy a flamethrower
    Tip #6: Dig a moat
Tip #7: put sharks or alligators or piranhas in the moat
Tip #8: Land mines (Bouncing Betty's would be most effective)
Tip #9: Booby traps (want a video on traps in the Vietnam war for inspiration)
    Tip #10: Claymore's
Tip #11: If all alse fails, get a restraining order, but this is if you have no other choice, however, IED's could also be a viable alternative!

      (2)
: to make by piercing action
      drill a hole
: to propel (something, such as a ball) with force or accuracy
drilled a single to right field
      (2)
      : to hit with force
drilled the batter with the first pitch
Look up pneumatic drill, aka Jackhammer . It's pointed, like a stake, yet it still "drills" into the ground.
