Just found your channel Mike! From the other end of Canada. Really enjoy watching beavers work and play. You have a great location there. Where they are familiar with you, which makes them comfortable enough to behave naturally. They are amazing creatures! Awesome videos! 😊👍👍👍
The beavers I follow live in a busy urban area so they are a little more tolerant of humans than most beavers. But I still have to be very quiet and slow.
That last shot was the best -- what is the difference between the shorter red stalks versus the tree's more grey ones. The leaves looked very similar, but the beaver clearly went nearer you to get to that tree. I'm thought it was still early spring-time from the leaves; am I right?
The beavers I follow live in a busy urban Center. It would not be wise to have them start associating humans with being fed, and since they have plenty to eat on their own, I decided it was best for me not to ever feed them.
@1:50 the most canadian interaction ever, a man apologizing to a beaver
"Is - is this a tree?"
What an amazing experience. ❤
Loved this Mike thanks so much for your videos!!!

This is incredible. The few times beavers have spotted me they go in the opposite direction.

I actually don’t know the difference between the two types of saplings you pointed out. That clip was filmed in the middle of summer if I recall.
The name of this channel is epic.
The sound of chewing is very soothing :)
I agree. I love it when I am close enough for the camera microphone to pick up the chewing sounds.
@@mikesvideosofbeavers I love it to, I hope they are getting used to your presence so you can record more!
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers!
Maybe they're getting used to you. Next step collar and a leash?
Love the video like always, Mike! I hope one day I will have an experience like this as well
You have to come visit Saskatoon; and show a little patience. It can be done.
Why don't you ever feed the beavers? They love sweet potatoes and carrots...
