Love that G.E radio with the sideband and the green Danita cb radio. Back in the days when they are built like a tank, components are tough and nature has a lot to give🙂
GE used ver cheap caps like most did. All leak to a degree and I've shown this in real time in one video, the aftermath is badly corroded tracks. The main ones to replace is the 1000uf I replace with a 2200uf 50 sometimes, then on the input side for power all the caps in the filter stage

Apart from this particular USA B model , is the leakage from the main electrolytic capacitor just as common on the 80ch USA B models ?
