Those new mustangs are quick, but 3k pound car @600hp. Maybe he needed some drag radials and a driver mod. Unless you guys were rolling out to 180mph. A dig race would be cool to see.
Your buddy can't drive or has the wrong tire setup
Well, we definitely have the wrong tires for drag racing. But we knew that going into it.
Totally awesome dude, my 21 SS will beat my 03 c5 too but who cares? Nothing quite drives and feels like a c5.
Pulley down 😆
I am at a 3.6 with the V3si Vortech. I think my biggest restriction at this point is the cam - but 3.4 pulley is tempting.
@@Toys4Life I have the same blower and pulley.. 3.4 is tempting 🤔 😆
I thought these engines were not great after a certain amount of hp, at least for stock
LS1 engines handle extra power quite well. IMO 550 RWHP and under is pretty safe. Keep in mind, mechanical issues or and engine experiencing knock can take out even a fully forged engine pretty quick. Key is to scan for knock and keep everything in excellent condition.
