  • Make sure to water your planets regularly or they may dry out. Also, be careful about the tsunamis and massive volcanic eruptions.

      @@SpikeViperhey spike I have a suggestion to improve realism: instead of giving lava less gravity, give it a larger cdist like 1.4 or something and increase its cpow to around 400. This way, instead of creating buoyancy for the lava by breaking the laws of physics, you create buoyancy by effectively decreasing its density and increasing its pressure.

    and this is how you don't make a planet with tectonic plates. the increase of mass or negative gravity of the lava will make it leave more. the mass will generally equalize out. but a single difference will be amplified by a lot. and negative gravity for the lava is very similar but even worse. because now its physics forces it to get out. the most stable way to do it is slightly editing the physics of sand, and making it such that pressure makes it tectonics, you get a way better re-creation. with just a handful of changes. such that the core vibrates and "liquifies". that allows the plate above that due to the attractiveness higher than default give it strength such that it can generally resist the tear force from the core. with it being often to see 2 distinct plates, and sometimes 3 that cause a plate to rise due to it being surrounded by material going upwards, and yes, spin makes everything better (I've seen this effect when I tested it). (and with friction set to 1) will allow everything to move faster. for you, a lower mass of rock and a higher mass of lava will make them not want to constantly switch, with c-distance (cdist) to be slightly higher to give its energy. To allow some upward-ness. Furthermore, increasing the attractiveness value will make the material edited to be more resistant to tears and generally lava escaping. Furthermore, changing the rate at which heat dissipates will make larger and smaller sims act more like how you want to.

    18:04 the spin was caused by the volcano making the planet lose mass

  • @NKdragonmaker
    @NKdragonmaker 4 місяці тому

    How about this:
    Start with only 1 star for a core and a completely molten world
    Set lava mass low but above 0
    allow natural convection cells to form
    keep world temp neutral or only slightly cold, this should let the surface and mantle cool enough to form stone while keeping the core molten
    add a bit of spin to keep heat around the core relatively even
    keep in mind how scaled down this world is, each of those volcanic eruptions are several 1000 times bigger then Yellowstone, the earth has an extremely smooth surface relative to its size, 4 particles above the surface is practically a mountain at this scale

    there is a video where someone makes a proper in out flow causing the crust to get eaten.
    the top and bottom of the planet sucks in matter (heat sources north and south below the surface melting it.
    the left and right of the forms new crust that diverges off to either side. with cold spots (negative sun) just above the crust (not to cold) this pushes the crust up/down both sides.
    then a strong sun in the middle.
    the important part is that the crust is formed at two locations.
    and eaten at two locations.
