Imtiaz Ali hints at Rockstar 2 with Ranbir Kapoor: "Musically, there has to be something to say"
The possibility of a sequel to the acclaimed film Rockstar is on the horizon, according to director Imtiaz Ali. In a recent Netflix video, Imtiaz Ali, AR Rahman, Irshad Kamil, and Mohit Chauhan discussed their latest project Amar Singh Chamkila and hinted at the potential for Rockstar 2. AR Rahman directly asked Imtiaz, “Are we making Rockstar 2?” to which Imtiaz responded, “But we should have something to say, I think. Musically, there has to be something to say.”
