I believe audiences were not mature enough back in 2011 when it Released. Now if you watch this movi in 2022 you can understand the meaning of this movie. Jordan goes from an innocent guy to an heartbroken personality without even contemplating what's happening to him. One of the best performance by Ranbir Kapoor. Great movie.

Why u think so that not everyone resonate with that scene , I believe out 10 ppl 9 belongs to that category , We are in the same profession that we always want to embraced but still that happiness is missing . to very large extent not everyone is sensible enough to understand that particular scene but that is how we live here in , we prefer a masala potboiler over such a classy and heart touching movies like Rockstar , October , Haider , kaminey .
I am sure you must have noticed that Haider and Bang Bang movie released on a same day but their earning has no match , While in content wise Haider ahead then Bang Bang but Bang Bang has mass appeal to audience .
Believe me or not I have watched this movie more Than 10 times and still enjoying watching these scenes
