God provided for me before I ever tithed, and then I got sucked into it for about 10 years, then the LORD showed me the truth, and I stopped it, and I am still very blessed. Thanks for this video! The truth sets us free (even from doctrinal error used for fear of being cursed!)
The amount of money I gave to the church was ridiculous. When you think about it, it's like paying for a golf club membership or some other vip club - you're giving away that much money per year. The sad thing is, in my old Fellowship, they would never do anything humanitarian with the money. It was always used to send out couples to start new churches on their own, with half of them failing after a few years because they never grow. What a waste of money.
I got told tithe was Gods money and offering is how you get blessings blah blah blah... i gave 20% of my money before taxes and only made $9.00 dollars an hour!! Did this for 10 years! What a waste!

I don't believe in tithing.. if you ask me, the offering basket is for donations and donations are at will, shouldn't be forced.. I see a problem when the pastor is living better than the congregation.. if the pastor wants money, he can go out and get a real job just like the rest of us..

This is another sore spot with me. Until she couldn't afford it anymore, my mother gave 10% of her monthly income to my uncle as a "tithe". (Yeah, the same uncle who made her get rid of all my cool toys.) This contributed to her going into debt. My uncle never hesitated to take the tithe money, but when my mother needed financial help, he turned a cold shoulder.
My old church, the door Christian fellowship, an offshoot of the potters house, is notorious for telling people to "give til it hurts", they encourage tithing pretax, and preach that not tithing is robbing God and that a curse will come upon your finances. My parents tithed, and gave to world evangelism, totalling something like 30% of their pre tax income. Needless to say, no car for me when I turned 16, and no money for college. People who have given to the church for decades and then fall on hard times and ask the church for financial help are turned away, even though the church brings in millions. If you're going through financial hardship, it's because God's trying to teach you something or you fucked up and sinned or missed a tithe payment. The only solution is to give even more and maybe then God will remove the curse from your finances. It's fucked up
And religion is why I believe churches should be taxed.. a donation is give what you can, most churches demand the 10% and that's not a donation.. as is, how many pastors actually have real jobs? None of the pastors I've ever known have had a real job outside of being a pastor..

I've lived in a third world country where church members tithed, yet they still had to beg for financial assistance. Oh sure, now and again they'd get 'blessed' with a little food or money, but that's part of the ups and downs of their life. It's disgusting to think God is "blessing them" by only throwing them a few crumbs in their poverty. Whether you tithe or not makes absolutely no difference. You just convince yourself that any blessing you happen to get must be a result of tithing.

the non levites were only required to give 10% of the yearly increase every third year. the tithe was ment for the Feast and was to be eaten at this feast. the people give whatever portion that they deamed necessary to the poor, widows, strangers, etc. and then gave the remaining part to the levites. the Levites then gave 10% to the the high priests who actually served in the temple (the decendents of Aaron) and always were the tithe to be shared witht he poor and needy and EATEN at this feast.

theres not ONE verse in the bible that's says anyone ever tithed on monetary wages and tithing was ALWAYS food products...tithing is not for today but freewill giving as one decides to in his heart what amount if any he does give...he can donate time and talent and not money and God accepts that just fine....if those who wanna tithe then you have screwed God out of 13.5 % cause there were 3 tithes and at 23.5% in the OT....now you wanna keep this law and it OT requirements at 23.5%..... still wanna follow such teachings at this price????.....
One of the things that the devil wants to do is to discredit God's Church. You see in the bible its says God will never see his children beg. Evidence of the blessing. The devil cannot stand to see or hear about how they are being blessed, so he tells others that is not what we should be doing that is a lie. Since the first time I became a Christian and honored God by paying my tithe. I have always been blessed. I have always had money, food on the table and much more. You can't beat that!
Your answer to that is in the bible. God does not have to prove anything to anyone. He doesn't bow down to creation because he is the creator. Let this sink, in and you will really see the answer scientifically, with evidence.
It is CLEARLY written in the Holy Scriptures: the book of Malachi is firm of it, not mentioning the laws of Moses.... Jesus the Lord God Saviour, fulfill the law, he never abolished it. Carnality keeps man from surrendering to God; for the Lord taught us spiritual.... If any follower is spiritual, he will fulfill all of the law in for discipline, but not for salvation.

Christ didn't tithe to Caeser, he commanded that we render unto Caeser what belongs to Caeser (taxes...boo, hiss). AND unto God, the things that are God's - which to me, includes tithing, for which I believe God has richly blessed me.
Jesus asked the question, that question being "Whose image and inscriptions is on the coin"? The answer was Caesar "Well give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and Give to God the things that are God's, meaning you are made in his image and his inscription (word/Jesus) is on your heart, so Give yourself, not 10% of your income to God.

I have had more financial blessings since I stopped tithing 25 years ago. However, a personal testimony of blessing is no grounds for a belief. You don't know what is right or wrong just because someone gives anecdotal stories of what happens one way or the other. You know what is right or wrong by searching the scriptures.

See this is the part some individuals don't get. God says it, you either believe it or not. I have been a Christian for over 17 years.. Have always been blessed since my tithing. God says he will never see his children beg. I can also testify to many others who are receiving the blessing. If not this would make God to be a liar. That is very dangerous grounds to walk on. I can't answer for you, and I can only speak for me and my family. We are really blessed!

The I Am that I Am, Father, Son, Holy Spirit is the one true living God! There is no other God. If you want to be in right standing with God you come by Christ! There is no other way. The only way to not be deceived is to be in Christ! Because once you are in Christ God gives you His Spirit! Which is the Holy Spirit! He is with you, and in you. He guards your heart, and mind. He leads, and guides you. So no matter what the deception, where it comes from, or who it comes from you will not be decieved. Question is are you in Christ? If you are praise God! We are brothers, and sisters in Christ, and you are in my prayers. If not the devil has blinded your mind, and I am praying God opens the eyes of your understanding to the truth. Which is Jesus! theres not ONE verse in the bible that's says anyone ever tithed on monetary wages and tithing was ALWAYS food products...tithing is not for today but freewill giving as one decides to in his heart what amount if any he does give...he can donate time and talent and not money and God accepts that just fine....if those who wanna tithe then you have screwed God out of 13.5 % cause there were 3 tithes and at 23.5% in the OT....now you wanna keep this law and it OT requirements at 23.5%..... still wanna follow such teachings at this price????.....

One of the things that the devil wants to do is to discredit God's Church. You see in the bible its says God will never see his children beg. Evidence of the blessing. The devil cannot stand to see or hear about how they are being blessed, so he tells others that is not what we should be doing that is a lie. Since the first time I became a Christian and honored God by paying my tithe. I have always been blessed. I have always had money, food on the table and much more. You can't beat that!
Your answer to that is in the bible. God does not have to prove anything to anyone. He doesn't bow down to creation because he is the creator. Let this sink, in and you will really see the answer scientifically, with evidence.
It is CLEARLY written in the Holy Scriptures: the book of Malachi is firm of it, not mentioning the laws of Moses.... Jesus the Lord God Saviour, fulfill the law, he never abolished it. Carnality keeps man from surrendering to God; for the Lord taught us spiritual.... If any follower is spiritual, he will fulfill all of the law in for discipline, but not for salvation.

Jesus asked the question, that question being "Whose image and inscriptions is on the coin"? The answer was Caesar "Well give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and Give to God the things that are God's, meaning you are made in his image and his inscription (word/Jesus) is on your heart, so Give yourself, not 10% of your income to God.
As far as scriptures are concern,under New Testament,any honest Christian should understand and know that Tithings was done way,like Sabbath,animals sacrifice,observance of Feasts and many Laws of Moses.We should obey what Paul preach and teach in NT,and that is free will offerings,give without grudgingly,and it is time we must have courage to speak the truths,only Cults taught mandatory Tithings.

Yes, lukewarm Christians do not give their tithes, and they remain cursed of disobedience. That is also why they shall be spud out by the LORD.
I have had more financial blessings since I stopped tithing 25 years ago. However, a personal testimony of blessing is no grounds for a belief. You don't know what is right or wrong just because someone gives anecdotal stories of what happens one way or the other. You know what is right or wrong by searching the scriptures.

God says he will never see his children beg. I can also testify to many others who are receiving the blessing. If not this would make God to be a liar. That is very dangerous grounds to walk on. I can't answer for you, and I can only speak for me and my family. We are really blessed!
