- I started this animatic project A year ago (Beginning ofAugust 2019) after beating my first route: the Blue Lions. I truly loved each characters - and still do, which is why I created this animatic!
Their stories are super dramatic but in the end, they've got the peace they all wished for ♥
I know this fan song for a long time, as I've played Dragon Age Inquisition back in 2014-2015~
I think the lyrics truly fit their stories too! I just edited/cut the part about Cullen being a Templar, because none of this fit FE3H characters ^^'

All the blue lion students went through hell and back in the Azure Moon route. I feel so bad for them, but that was meant to be the emotional sad route. While I played the route I kept wishing I could help, but all I could do was keep them from dying and say different things that couldn't change the game. Dimitri lost almost everything, Byleth lost their father and most of their power to help their students, Mercedes lost her brother, Felix lost his father brother and Dimitri in a way, Ashe list his adoptive father, Sylvain lost his brother, Annette lost her father in a way, Ingrid was just a doll for her father to play with, and Dudue lost most of his family and almost lost his life. They were the most emotionaly turn during the game.
Ingrid also lost her fiance
Its crazy how everyone in the Blue Lions lose so much yet still come together in the end
This is great... just... so, so beautiful. Honestly, the Blue Lions are really unfairly advantaged in terms of characterisation. Everyone one of them is connected to the main plots. Dimitri is connected to Edelgard, Byleth with Sothis and the Nabateans/Church, Sylvain and the crests and relics, Ashe with Lonato and the Western Church, Ingrid with Duscur, the Fraldarius and the overall deconstruction of ideals about chivalry, Dedue with Dimitri and Duscur, Felix with Rodrigue and Glenn and by extension Dimitri, Annette with Gilbert and Mercedes with the Death Knight. I thought at first this video was about Dimitri, but this completely exceeds my expectations and beautifully describes the dynamics of the whole Blue Lion class.
BL was my first route too. To be frank, I might not have even finished the game and played all the routes if they weren't my first class and made me so attached to them. Thank you for this masterpiece.

And yes, I tried to make it a Blue Lions animatic and show how they overcome their fears and struggles together, but stay united and succeed in the end ♥

And thats why we love them. I for one sympathise with those whose who suffered so much. But its also uplifting to see them overcome everything and become better persons

Blue Lions Best House
The blue lions were my first house and I dreaded doing the other three routes especially crimson flower. I kinda sped through the other routes just so I can get back to Dimitri. I love everyone in the blue lions especially Dimitri and I am glad I chose it first. I will always be in the blue lions from this moment on.
I feel that so much QwQ The Blue Lions are also my fave, Golden Deer being a close second ❤️
This was very beautiful. They all have such sad stories and yet, when I see them all together, I can’t help but smile. They are all stronger together, then they ever will be a part. (I’m crying, I love them all so much) :’)

This house was my second one, and damn, I regret not playing it first. Imo it has the best characters and best storyline. I'm overly attached to Ashe, Mercedes and Dimitri, and I say that with confidence.

There is absolutely NOBODY tragedy free in the Blue lion. You can argue the others students in the other routes are "ok" compared to this. (In a way, they do reflect their dorm leader. All haunted by the ghost of their own past, but getting back up at some point, because they can't just sit still and do nothing)

I'm more of a Golden Deer person but my love for other students and teachers still is deep and Blue Lions just attacks my feelings

Relatable though ^^' I cried a lot while drawing this, remembering their stories and all QwQ
This gives me the same feeling that old “In the Pines” animation by Lord Bung did. Utter chills at everything, the use of Lighting, even some movement. Lining up shots I would’ve never thought of (Ashe with the ghosts behind him like that).
It just shows how utterly tragic the entirety of the Blue Lions are, every single one of them has lost so incredibly much though they cane together in the end, United by their Goal.

The Blue Lions are such an emotional group, it makes them very inspirational! Especially when you see how far they've come when you finish their path, despite their own burdens, inner demons, anger and sadness.

I jumped at the Felix part, he's my favorite character I became so attached to him cause of my blue lions playthrough, PEAK comfort character. I recruited Felix on my other routes, aaaaaaand it wasn't that nice ;__; I noticed that Felix's endings are route dependant, and now I'm afraid of his ultimate fate on my GD playthrough- So I played BL again lol
Anyways, AMAZING work, you definitely deserve more views, this is simply breathtaking, keep it up :DD

I adore this! The song fits well and it really makes me reflect on how hard these characters have it. One small thing is that I believe 2:03 is supposed to be "bear" (as in "shouldering" the weight of a burden) and not bare (as in "showing" one) Thank you for making and sharing this :)
