There's a Filipino fantasy series where the chosen one main character can turn into a mermaid, a harpie, and a centaur, ruling over land, sea, and air. Not mythology related but just something cool to tell you. The story isn't good plot-wise and of course the special effects are sloppy, which to me a good concept don't deserve.

Gauging the track of good taste, and presuming you even read these comments for recommendations, I'd suggest looking into bands like The Family Crest (In Your Arms Tonight; Howl), Animal Sun (Girl in Blue), and Tally Hall/Cojum Dip (Moon Waltz). I also discovered Burn the Ballroom (Kiss Me You Animal; Whisper) right around when I was getting into these bands, but it's not the same vibe (more of a Panic! or MCR peer). Hope to maybe see if any of these crop up on your channel in the next few months!
