Trying to reach the top I can imagine to be a pressure, but I hope you won't give up your passion in exchange for monetary benefit, for there are certainly many ambitions as to reaching the top...
In fact, I'd say that the higher up you go, the darker the nights can be. The more eyes, the more expectations. More pressure. Good luck.
* I think a way to get to the top is to refine your music creation skills further and see if you can place in an indie game/project, get out there, make yourself known by being featured in potentially hit titles, and even if it isn't a hit, at least let the title be remembered by the epic scores that you composed. Hoping and waiting for people to view your soundtracks here in a saturated market is unreliable, so seize the moment.
