Wow I bet the beach is wild today. We are hunkered down here in NS. PEI storm surge is supposed to be huge as well. The glass will get a great tumble today. Thanks for something Teddy.
My husband and I have collected so much beach glass (probably 50 lbs worth). We put them in decorative containers and they go well in our home reminding us of our neighborhood beach. I have become very picky which pieces I pick up. If they are smaller than the size of my thumb nail, I don’t bother with them. Blue (light and dark) are my favorites, but red are the most rare. We’ve managed to find a handful of red ones. Sometimes you can get lost in searching for the glass and not fully enjoy the beach’s beauty so I make sure I don’t make my visit to the beach all about beach glass hunting.
It's so important to soak all that the beach has to offer. The sea glass for me is just a reminder of the whole picture. It has the power to pull me back to the beach in my memories.
Hi Jackie. Hope Teddy is leaving u alone, but brings u lots of glass! Beach season is winding down quickly here in Buffalo NY. It's been a couple of weeks since I've been do to hectic schedule and I'm goin g thru withdrawal. May I ask if u hunt in the winter months and if u are more or less productive during those months. I've been told u will find more and bigger but I don't know🤷🏼♀️ I don't do cold well and we r about 45 minutes to our fav beaches for glass. So to me it's not really worth it cause I know I won't last long and those winds off the lake can be bitter cold even when it's not too windy at home. Love that necklace so much! Great job hubby!
Hopefully Teddy will blow in some good treasures. I live in NS, so I only get to the beach in the summer and shoulder seasons when I'm at my cottage in PEI. This beach is very cold in the winter and not great for sea glassing - lots of ice and cold winds. The beaches near my home in NS are not great for sea glass so I don't go sea glassing in the winter. I know some people do with lots of luck at other beaches where they live.
Funny I watched this whole video and was thinking how lovely you seemed. And then I realized you're from Nova Scotia! I'm from Halifax. Great tips thank you. Do you have any recommendations for beaches around Halifax? I'm going to crystal crescent today!
So cool! I love any Nova Scotia I've visited but I have never found a good beach for sea glass. Any pieces I've found have been too rough. I did find some good tiny pieces at Point Pleasant Park beach. Let me know how you do at Crystal Crescent. After restrictions lift I'd love to try some new beaches
What state and beach were you at? I live in Southern California and that beach does not look familiar at all especially the red sand and rock. Great video thanks. I have collected a lot of Seaglass and I’m trying to decide what I want to do with it. How do you hang your framed sea glass art in a window?
It’s Prince Edward Island Canada. Very unique soli color. Famous for red soil. I’ve done a few videos on hanging pieces if you do a search on my channel. Best wishes creating art with the your sea glass
Our beach is a hour drive away and it's pebbles and rocky but some times we get there and it's all sand we find nothing then a week later it's all pebbles again it drives me mad why does this happen
I have the same experience. I’ll never understand the forces of nature. I can’t quite figure out what makes the tide changes vary so much in how they affect the beach.
Lovely to watch. Thank You for posting
So glad you enjoyed this

I'm back in NS for Teddy too. I'd lo.ve to be in PEI for the storm - the beach is wild in high winds
Nice finds, especially the blue, however I did find one very small blue piece last week, made my day. Thanks for the tips 🥰
