AKA-Tibz Murder Case I Court hears about alleged payment

- The Durban Magistrates' Court heard that the fourth suspect in the murder case of Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and Tebello Motsoane, Mziwethemba Gwabeni was allegedly paid R800 000 by prominent businessman Sydney Mfundo Gcaba the day after the murder. A sworn statement submitted by the Investigating officer Detective Kumarasan Pillay, stated that the money was paid from Gcaba's company - Bright Circle. Five of the seven suspects in the matter face charges, including two counts of murder, five of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of unlawful firearms, possession of unlawful ammunition and money laundering. My uncle died a few years ago, to this day i dont know what happened to him, I wish he was also a famous person and maybe there would be justice for him and I would find closure. Its a sad reality that one has to be in the public eye for justice to take place..😢

Sydney Gcaba may have paid but what beef did he have with AKA? What is the motive ? Usually in taxi killings its personal, its for business, threat or revenge. I believe Kiernans father is right. They went a step higher in the hierarchy but not the person who had the real motive. I do believe there is someone higher up. A taxi boss can't wake up one day and say " I want AKA dead"

Tembe movement must be restricted now because he could easily take "holiday" to a country that doesn't have extradition laws connected with South Africa, SAPS and court needs to move faster with this court case I love the evidence that's been shown each step of the way new names linked to the case with paper trail evidence.
There's too many big cases in South Africa linked to big money that fall flat and wealthy individuals just continue about they lives like nothing happened whilst smaller criminals suffer in jail because they used as collateral.

KwaZulu-Natal police department is the best in South Africa in terms of challenging crimes and at times other's get lucky but law is done by law.i wish senzo incident took place in KwaZulu-Natal will be resolved long ago no matter the powerful individual involve
im proud of the state IO for havibg used all the facilities & equipments at their desposal to track the killers. The city of durban from king shaka to all the places AKA went to has more than 2cctv cameras they used to prove the case.
