I have the most similar troubles, because sometimes questions are to much related at ideas and "communal american sense" so sometimes not cath completely some parts.

1)Find synonyms of the key words in the paragraph Questions cause there will never be the same words 2) When you feel the answer is in a para but you cant find the relevant answer acc to the question, the questiom is tricky to confuse you. Focus on tye relevant info 3) skip the question if you cant find the answer and do them at the end

During practice i was finally getting 37 to 39 marks at last after practicing so much and then i gave my exam , after exam i was damn sure that I'll get 8 in listening and 7 in reading, and still i got 5.5 in both which is still unbelievable to me. And we even can't see that what mistakes we made so I'm litterly loosing confidence to give exam again. IT WAS A PAPER BASED TEST.

Like this so that it helps everone out there :) Before reading the passage, look at the questions and look first question and underline the key word mentioned in that question (take 2 questions for true false not given because 1st question might be not given). Then start reading the passage it takes no longer than 8 minutes. When you find the underlined word (in the question) in the passage mark it so that you know the answer is in a particular paragraph. After you finish reading the whole passage look at the questions and try searching answers where you marked earlier. Trust me this is much more effective. Also keep in mind the questions which comes in order and doesn't. You don't want yourself to search answers every time from the first passage

I scored - L-9, R-9, W-8.5, S-7.5, Overall - 8.5 in IELTS General L-8.5, R-8.5, W-7, S-7.5, Overall - 8 in IELTS Academic I solved a couple of papers from the Free Text Book they provide once you register for the exam. I watched a couple of Fastrack IELTS videos and read a couple of blogs. This was of great help! The key is to generally read books and novels and consume English content in the form of TV or Movies. When taking the Listening mock test, keep the speed at 1.5x and answer. The actual test will feel slower and easier to follow. Overall I felt that the actual tests were far easier than the Mock Tests given in any textbooks. Please take the Computer Delivered test as a lot of sections were more intuitive.

@@waifufx To start with, I have learned the rules and formats of the test in the beginning, then I gave 2-3 days for each part(L,R,W,S), so after that I attempted atleast 20+ mock tests and observed my mistakes and learned some tricks from these tutors in UA-cam: >IELTS Liz >E2 IELTS >Asad Yaqub >Sam and Ash (there are many more) So that's basically the method I've used for my preparation. Hope it's helpful.

@@sananazrin4211 hi, is it General reading because i took ielts general. Just follow her tips. I remember my tutor had told me to skim and scan. Always see what is the main point you want from the question and highlight that. For true , false and not given, follow the instructions and please practice many examples. For me, i should say, only practice helped
@@kainatalhashmi5403 how I do is mark important points on each paragraphs. So when we go through for matching it would be easy to identify. I just follow how the questions were given, didn't face much difficulty. But if somthing is actually causing trouble skip it and do it at the end.

English is not my mother language so i spend more than 1k hours for learning English but i learn very little in fact i spend most of time fir learning English word so that i take one hour in the morning and other an hour for math that my school leaning system also study in night so that i fell load head all day and also sleepy too

@@the_winter_soldier477 7.5 band is an excellent score but it would've been overall 8 band if you had scored 7 or 7.5 in writing

It means putting your question on extra sheet first and transferring later to actual answer sheet.
I was only preparing from IELTS academic book and your videos. It gives me immense pleasure to let you know that I got 7.5 overall and minimum 7 in all. I am from India and being a non native speaker this score is great for me. Thanks again for all your help. Love you from all my heart ma’am!

I am in two mind wether i should learn all unfamiliar words or not, when i do a practice caming across unfamiliar words then try to write them my notebook and find other meanings, lear all one by one which usually demands me substantial amount of time )) Other alternative ways??? Thanks in advance

@@creepy4545 Just follow her tips and try to practise using available materials online. There are questionnaires online too and try to find ielts speaking mock tests here on youtube. You can pause the videos and try to answer them. Good luck! You got this!

Or
Use the information in the passage to match the people .....with opinions......

@@sananazrin4211 hi, is it General reading because i took ielts general. Just follow her tips. I remember my tutor had told me to skim and scan. Always see what is the main point you want from the question and highlight that. For true , false and not given, follow the instructions and please practice many examples. For me, i should say, only practice helped

do you advise to solve matching the paragraph in the first or at the last after solving the rest question?
@@kainatalhashmi5403 how I do is mark important points on each paragraphs. So when we go through for matching it would be easy to identify. I just follow how the questions were given, didn't face much difficulty. But if somthing is actually causing trouble skip it and do it at the end.
On IDP they are not allowed highlight , in the computer beside exam . this is what happened with me .
Thank you so much. I'm taking the exam on 19th in St. Petersburg. When I was first given advice not to read full texts I was surprised as how is it acceptable. But now I see it really works and is highly recommended.

English is not my mother language so i spend more than 1k hours for learning English but i learn very little in fact i spend most of time fir learning English word so that i take one hour in the morning and other an hour for math that my school leaning system also study in night so that i fell load head all day and also sleepy too
