      Prob to get it that nice thin crepe and crunch. It’s hard to get that consistency if it’s too thick. Plus even though what he’s doing seems simple it’s not. I’ve tried with just a tiny dosa.

      7 cm not .It should be 70 cm . 7cm can fit into geometry box which has 15cm scale.

      I too remove excess batter but adjust on dosa itself still it comes out crispy .never pour more batter and waste .

    Dosa Master Requirements are high demand even in UK,US & AUSTRALIA.
    In India, to retain dosa Master...it's difficult. you can find mbbs...iit...IIM jobless during rescission.
    But Post Graduate Higher Advanced Diploma in Mysore Masal Dosa...experts never get retirement.

    I don't know why in Chennai they try and make dosas so thin. I prefer the slightly thicker Bangalore dosas which are crispy on the outside and spongy inside. This type of dosa soaks up the chutney or sambar much better and tastes better. Extra crispy dosa does not soak up any of the accompaniments.

    even if it is to make the dosa crisp.
    use a bigger vessel to pour the batter, so that u dont have to pour it twice/thrice. 😐😮😐

    It's very hard to find Dosa makers in Chennai who doesn't faq up in something.... Either the batter is bland/Dosa is rough like card board/don't even put a single drop of ghee... They just aren't skilled to make Dosas as they are skilled to make perfect Idlies...

    The dosa is big and good to eat with 10 to 12 people at a time. But it is a waste of food (the dosa batter) when he removes extra batter from the dosa. I would have loved to eat the same as it is.

    I've had dosa bigger than this...at Pallavi veg restaurant, Andheri east, Mumbai.
    It's called the butter paper dosa. You can hv it sada or masala. Masala is served separately.

    Dose is one recipe that no other snack is abused so extensively.
    Firstly scraping the batter from dose is entirely forbidden.
    The very art of dose making lies in having the bottom golden brown and crispy while keeping the top soft and fluffy.
    No chef on the planet makes dose as the mundane cooks of Udupi restaurants in Karnataka

      Ex:Biryani in different regions have different tastes
      Don’t try to act too smart
      It’s ur own choice on how u eat it
      So everyone can make modifications on their own preferences
