BLISS! What brings my heart the most joy is donating my time at an assisted living center. Each week I try to take two seniors with me to Sunday church service. I’m currently working on 4 more quilts to gift to 4 people that live there. I’m slowly but surely trying to make sure each and every senior that lives there has a lap quilt to help keep them warm! My boys are all grown and have families of their own. I’m an empty nester and what I enjoy the most is my grand daughter, my dogs, making quilts, and giving back to the community. My late father was in the retirement community that I donate my time at, and I was shocked to how many elderly people either don’t have family or their family doesn’t visit them. It’s actually very sad. Thank you for sharing with us. I always listen to your podcast when I’m in my sewing room sewing. It’s very relaxing to listen to the 3 of you talk. I hope you all have a beautiful day.
What gives me Bliss is being in my sewing room with knowing there is nothing pressing that has to be done in the house and I am free to play with fabric all day!

The little guy took the quilt to all his appointments and hospital stays. So yes, how can it get any better than that.
