The GERMAN SUBJUNCTIVE. EASY if you KNOW these couple of Things

- WHAT IF? We all like to dream. And luckily, it’s easy to express in German. We’re talking about the subjunctive, a scary thought maybe, but stick around, because it’s easier than you think. If we’re talking about ourselves, we’re going to be using the verb 'würden' mostly to express not what we are doing or did do, but what we would do. It’s those hypothetical situations. Often talked about as a conditional, since we say what we would do if things were different. But for sein, haben and the modals, we need a special form of the subjunctive. Today we find out how.

We aim to simplify the German language by providing guidelines for language learning. There are of course lots of ways of explaining the same thing. We recommend listening to as many explanations as you can until you find one that makes sense to you.
I absolutely love the way examples are provided along the way and talking about other rules that we have just learned previously that add to the lesson. It’s so important to add the examples in the videos in so many other people talk for so long before they add the examples, and they try to add them at the end. This is so good such a great way to teach! And the presenters voice is so relaxing.
