I started trying to organize my craft room and felt sick after seeing how much stuff I'd purchased from DT. Alot I'd forgotten about. I had soooo many intentions that never came to fruition 😔

I have way to much stuff but am working on wildling it down! Gotta get ready for the county fair! I love your videos and haven't been able to watch for awhile! You are awesome!♥️
You did a good job reorganizing your craft room. I will have to purchase the overcthe door shoe organizer to store my floral, which are currently in large totes. Isaiah didn't know what to do when you started the vacuum cleaner. That was too funny.

You done a fabulous job on the wallpaper it turned out gorgeous... Your craft room is beautiful and you could own your on craft store sis... I’m the very same way the more I buy the more I want lol... I have way to much and know where to put, my husband like you need too get rid of half of this stuff, then I say you can get rid of half of your tools dead silence lol...

I think you did an AMAZING job! I have a spare bedroom as well that I’m using as my craft space. Somehow I QUICKLY filled it with DT items and goodwill finds…it is a HOT MESS! But as you know, it’s hard to be creative in a messy unorganized space. I recently purchased 2 huge book shelves from FB Marketplace. First I need to invite my grandkids over to help haul all that stuff out so I can paint! thank you so much Amber for reiterating that the transformation took several months! Honestly, I think you did an amazing job! 👍🏾👍🏾

@@DIYwithAmber Hi Amber, jumping into the conversation. You might think about storing the spray paint up higher so the boys won’t get curious about them. Maybe where your other paint is located. The key to storage is: store like items together - makes it easier to find.
Also, maybe store your shoe/flower holder on the closet door so you can open up the entry door more easily. Great job in your crafts room make over. One day, I will prune mine and show the before and after, lol.

Love how "real life" your video. is. Many of us don't have room or the money to do those big beautiful OCD designed craft rooms. So seeing a smaller scale layout and practical organized room is nice. The struggles of being a full-time Mom with little ones "helping" (so cute!) and trying to do it all, especially when you have to do it yourself shows us real life. (Aside from your hubby's debut) Thanks for the ideas.

That's nice when you really have a room to do is great. My husband had told me to have half of the garrage to have storage for all my crafts. Well he said and know is like I don't fit I have all my crafts part in my kitchen and part in the dinning. I am so stress I wished I could have some extra room you know. Well congratulations you did it!! An awesome job for that craft room. I wished I can have an idea of how should I do ir to put my things to look super organized. I love how honest you are, “I just didn’t know what to do with it”, so I put it here in a tub comments. That is totally me. I agree if I can’t see it I won’t use it. I love how you have things positioned to see what you have. On a side note, gift idea….. last Christmas I made wreath kits for a few people. I used ornaments, ribbon, fake flowers, cookie cutters, twine, and a few other odds and end. The kits were for the gift receivers to have the materials but have to create it themselves. It turned out so good I sent off gifts for my teenage niece and nephew similar things to create. Niece got materials to make a couple necklaces and nephew got plans, a gift card, and rough description of how to make a wood reindeer where the legs and body slide into each other. Just a gift sharing idea. Oh, your little one cracked me up. I wonder where he saw others do that motion for being scared. Take care!

Your room looks great! I’m getting ready to do a makeover on my craft room/bedroom, that’s how I found your video because I was searching for craft room makeovers. I do papercrafts. You do a lot of crafts I don’t do so I just had to subscribe because who knows, I might just have to try something new! Cracked up at your little guy when you started vacuuming. My 2 year old great-granddaughter freaks out when we vacuum too. I love finding stuff at thrift stores too. Maybe you could have a yard sale to sell some of your hand made items and things you no longer need? Or have you checked out Facebook marketplace? That’s where I got a couple of great items at a good price for my room makeover. Looking forward to seeing all the cool crafting goodies you make! God Bless ♥️

I'd go to Ikea or order online, but they won't deliver what I want to New Mexico and we don't have enough people in one area for them to build a store. :{ Bright side though, moving in two years to a place that does have an Ikea so I can get that full Ikea experience...Billy Bookshelves I'm looking at you.

I have almost as much craft supplies, fabric plus art supplies. My room is probably under half the size as yours. I really need to organize it. Thanks for the great ideas I can do to organize mine better. Love that accent wall.
Awesome craft room. Your little guy was so cute when he put his hands on his chest. He would have climbed out the window if he could have. The vacuum noise scared him so much it was so funny watching him although I'm sure he didn't think so. Enjoy your space!

Wow, from where you started to the finished space is an amazing transformation. You did a really good job. I agree that Isaiah looks much younger in this. Lord knows how he has been able to age at all with that vacuum scaring the living daylights out of him. What a reaction, lol lol, and yet he didn't cry. Bless his little heart.

I have bought up so much stuff, and now I know Im never going to get around to using it haha...

I really like your process. The hanging organizer on the back of the door is an idea I’m going copy. I want my silk flowers out where I can see them instead of in a garbage bag in the basement. Your babies are adorable. I love seeing kids wanting to do everything their grown ups are doing. I’m an older person and background noise makes it hard to hear what people are saying. Could you make the background music much quieter? It was hard to understand all you were saying.
Love the ship lap wall, I bought the same rolls but sent mine back because I didn't like the color, but it looks so pretty in your room with the decor and the color of your other walls. I was looking for the metal attachments that you bought from amazon to attach your table to your shelf but there not in the description box below. I'm revamping my craft room as well and was looking for something like those but can't find. Do you have the link for them?

Great job on the craft room 👌 , actually I started trying to organize my craft corner I have way to much stuff , sometimes my friends want things I have finished and not using.
OMG, you so remind me of myself with all the Dollar Tree bags in the floor! I'm just starting to reorganize and redo my craft room. It will take me months to go through and sort all my stuff!
If the wall paper ends up failing you, try the shiplap wall panels. They have them at Home Depot and Lowe’s. Maybe a bit pricier than the paper but still very affordable for such a small area and super easy to install.
Congrats on a job well done. I also use the over-the-door shoe hanger for my flowers. I put some glass beads in each of the holders on the bottom row. Helped keep it straight & not flop a LOT. Job well done 💖

this is the first video I watch from you and my favourite bit by far 5:00 was the appearance of these two absolutely adorable little buttons. 🥰 12:30 I wonder why don't you hang that shoe shelf with the florals on the inside of your closet doors? looks like you got the space they need there cause the shelves are fairly set back. 😘
If you put the door organizer with flowers on the inside of your closet door, you could open the room door all the way and keep it out of the way of kids. Great job!

Your little guy is sooo cute! I too have to see what I have. It can be a challenge to keep it all in sight. So I rotate out my seasonal stuff and keep that overflow in another room. It seems like it is a never ending job to keep it all organized! Lol. I do like the shelves in the closet. It will be on my to do list!
