I should have paid attention to the part where you mentioned that hot wood cures CA glue very quickly! I got my tube half way in and it stuck! 😖 You’ll find another order from me on your website for a replacement tube. It’s just one mistake after another… 😂
It is a process we all go though but at least a new tube is a fraction of the price of a new kit! Once you have it mastered there will be no turning back - excuse the pun!

Hi John, great video and lovely looking kit, I’ve still got one to tern from the two I bought a few weeks back. The first came out great. I made the body from segmented leather and a case for it from the same piece of leather for my step daughters 21st birthday. She loves it. I’ll see if I can send you pictures of the finished pen.
Just recently bought a couple of these kits to make up a wedding present along with cruet set for the happy couple... good to have a reminder to watch 😊
Hi. Love the one piece (of turning) design but I also like a slim pen. This looks quite chunky but I also like the click stop action. Question, is there any difference in the diameters please? Thank You
The nib and heel sizes are the same with bushings measuring 10.3mm so that is the slimmest it should be made. Any slimmer it would not accept a Parker style refill. I hope that helps.
