I was doing so well until I put the nib connector in. I didn’t realise that only one end has internal thread right to the end allowing you to screw the nib on. Be sure to put the part in with the internal thread at the nib endand the small internal “collar” towards the rear😢

So to make a 3 section pen would i have to turn one piece and then most of the second piece, then move the bushing to turn the third piece and the remainder of the second piece..? Thanks 👍

I have made 20 slimline pens and 10 cigar pens, and I thought I would like to make some click pens. The package arrived 10 click pen kits and I came to You Tube to find out how to put them together. Two people have said they don't make click pens they are too much trouble. Thankyou for your instructions I will play this video a few times to get it right. This is a great hobby I am having a ball making these beautiful pen. Thanks for your help. Have a great day.

Very nice that you used the lathe for everything. Now why don't you make some alignment pieces that the pen parts fit into that keep them in line while assembling? I think that would help.

Actually, once the drill has started drilling, 1 inch maybe, then you are able to push the drill in by hand.

These are great and have saved a pen or two when I've trimmed the blank down a bit too much and the ink refil doesn't retract into the body.

I have a couple of gouges with shorter handles.i watched snooker players screwing a short extension on to the end of their cue when needing to lengthen it.This seems a good way to lengthen my gouge handles.

Love the gun metal finish, my gold kit arrived safely today. Read through the instructions and watched both your video clips on putting this kit together. Not yet done a fountain pen but o have bought from you before Love the green blanks too

Had you already inserted the tube into your blank before turning as it didn't appear to be shown in the video, sorry if its a basic question but being new to turning I need step by step instructions. great product by the way

Hi Jon, I have never been a fan of stylus pens but I may be being converted. It looks very, very nice. My wife has a corporate gift pen from a German Car manufacturer which has the stylus on the nib end and she really likes it. Two great videos Jon. Take care. Cheers, Huw
