It depends on how high you mount your body but the ballooning tires are really annoying especially with the 8th scale set up they probably double in size at full balloon I'm looking into ways to prevent that I see they make belted tires so that might help but like you I've invested lots of money into the tires I have so I'm probably going to use them until they're destroyed
CSHONDAMAN 407 I’ll Probly catch a lot of hate but I’m running the Arrma 3s system in mine. I’ve had way too many problems out of the stock electronics.
How is this body holding up, can it take a beating ore do it crack like many are saying it is doing easy? Wondering since i am thinking of geting one for my monster slash, and i like the idear not to hold back when im bashing. looking at the marketing of this bodys for the x maxx the took a slagehammer and pounded on it and it dident break so lots of diffrent accpect to think of.
For everyday driving and ramping it's perfectly fine mine still has not cracked I've seen the ones that have cracked and they mostly are crashing the vehicle into things the normal bodies after one time landing on the roof would break on me because of the weight of the monster slash
Thanks for the vid, I just ordered mine but I'm running stock wheel diameters. Is that an issue at all? Also I'm doing a lcg chassis and was curious if that made a difference or not. Please let me know
It's definitely not going to be a problem using the stock wheels or something similar it might look a little funny cuz the body is so big it will definitely hang over the wheels it will fit on any of the Slash chassis I personally really like the lcg
@@cshondaman407 I went ahead and ordered the Pro-Line belted Trencher 2.8"s for bashing but for racing indoors I have to use the stock rim size. I just hope it doesn't look really goofy with the huge gap!
The body is holding up amazing no cracking just the paint that I put on top is scratching off but I planned on that happening plus when you're driving fast the body does not flop all around
@@chriscrashrc2982 wow that's weird I would definitely contact them because this stuff is hard to cut I had to contact them and get the sticker sheet but still didn't come with window decals for the outside just mask off details for painting
@@cshondaman407 hi, I got feedback from my supplier today. He told me that the bodies that were not milled out of my body are "additional flo tek vents" and all bodies are delivered in this way. They also sent me an example picture. just funny that it was already milled out in your body .....
Yes I scuffed it down with an automotive 3M scuff pad and used some white spray paint used for plastic and I used model car paint with a paintbrush and did all of the windows black I don't know how to post a picture on here for you guys
It's supposed to come with all the same decals as the normal monster Fusion they forgot to include those in my packaging so they are sending them to me
CSHONDAMAN 407 Great video. Just received mine and same thing No stickers. Proline is sending mine. They say it can’t be painted like the normal shells, but their are tons of options out there for stickers. I’m keeping mine white for now but my paint the inside as you stated. That seems to me to be the only option.
@@RCConceptsx I just got my sticker sheet from them and it's the same exact one that came with the original Monster Fusion therefore there is no window stickers just the masking stickers for painting so now I'm going to have to figure out what I'm going to do with all of the windows
Good video brother!
I have a monster slash with Trencher 2.8. They balloon like crazy. Ya think this body will clear the tires in full balloon mode?

No hate from me lol I'm running the hobbywing Max 8 and castle Creations 2200kv I only use 4s and it's crazy fast

I dont think you paint it ithink you wrap it
Awesome idea wish I would have thought of that when I first got it
Hi, how has this body held up in the past five months?
Thanks :)

hi, had all the ventilation holes cut out in your body, or did you have to cut out the bash armor body itself?
and by the way, thumbs up #9👍 and new subscribers #17, I would also be happy about a new subscriber.
It came pre-cut looks like they did it with a dremel
Thank you for the answer, but in my unfortunately were 4 pieces forgotten🤔😤
