Lol we use our own network not the us provided ones . It's safe to use plus there are redundancy measures too which calculates the trajectory at the beginning of the journey and then follows on it and it keeps happening in a cycle so at any point the navigation fails it'll switch to mechanical trajectory control and will hit any stationary target easily

Ramjet technology canbe used which initially used the booster to gain velocity and by use of wind flow , ramjet mechanism activated and can give high range or speed ❤ just like brahmos, although it is just my opinion 😊

@@kartikeyasv571 Yo are correct as SFDR or solid fuel Ducted ramject, does not only increase the range, but also capable of keeping the kinetic energy during the flight for far longer than any normal solid fuel Missiles because by controlling the airflow, it can control the burn rate of the solid fuel whereas in normal solid fuel, once it starts, it burns uncontrollably. But the problem is that, those technology integrations are not cheap by any means as it needs several extra components to be added, both in terms of physical structure and in terms of on-board control systems. So, just using ramjet powered missiles by replacing every other propulsion tech, is not a feasible solution and e need cheaper but longer range AAMs as well. Even France or Britain use mix of AIM-120 and Meteor.

When and who offered F35 to India?
Turkey was removed from the F-35 program in 2019 due to its purchase of the Russian S-400 missile system, which raised significant security concerns among NATO allies. The S-400's incompatibility with NATO systems and potential risk of exposing F-35 technology to Russia were major issues. Despite U.S. warnings and threats of sanctions, Turkey proceeded with the S-400 acquisition. As a result, the U.S. imposed sanctions under CAATSA and expelled Turkey from the F-35 project to protect the integrity of NATO defense systems.

If battery power/life / is what is going to be a big criteria in terms of range/life and utility of the missile apart from making battery and electronic circuits smaller/powerful and compact should also think of ways for the missiles battery to be replaceable without going to the OEMS.
IAF should go for new Isreali Rafael made Sky Sting long range BVRAAM with 3 pulsed rocket motor.. Providing throttlable characteristic of Ramjet in affordable pulse rocket motor. It would give BVR edge to IAF across the border especially eastern.
3 pulse of rocket fuel has different fuel grains.. Mid pulse burns slowly to achieve longer range and final pulse burns faster in endgame to engage fast moving targets. 😊

Dimension , no escape zone , terminal velocity, seeker and battery source and aerodynamic of missile is important to develop any long range bvr . Instead if three pulse motor we can go for SFDR missile technology which inturn have almost same range and dimension maybe compared to meteor and Astra mk3

Ramjet propulsion is costly affair. Meteor a single unit costs around 3 million dollars.. And pulsed rocket missiles cost around 1.2 million to 1.5 million dollars.
Meteor missile is far better than AIM

Astra mk2 is a 'WILL BE OPERATIONAL SOMEDAY' kind of missile like Tejas, HTT-40, Sitara, Saras, Ghatak, Rustom, Arjun, Kali, Kaveri, Utam, nag, Nirbhay, AIP for submarines etc etc.
